When he came back home, Geena was standing there outside the door.

“What are you doing here?” There was irritation in his voice. He was already under stress. After handling Chloe, he did not have that much stamina to handle her mom too.

“Where is Chloe?” Geena did not sound friendly either. Her face was red with anger. “Kyle. I am asking you something. Where is my daughter?”

Kyle who had unlocked the door, gestured her to get inside. Geena did not want to but she needed to find her daughter.

“Would you like some wine?” He asked her but when she did not say anything he shrugged nonchalantly. There was rage on her face.

“I am not able to contact my daughter for the past twenty four hours. And her phone is not responding. Tell me. What did you do to her?” Geena pinned him with her suspicious gaze.

Kyle was avoiding eye contact. Geena went near him and held him by his collar.
