JENNA POV

Yilena's grip on the steering wheel tightened, her face paling. She put the phone on speaker, and I recognized the voice on the other end even though I wasn't too familiar with him. It was Richard.

"Richard, calm down," Yilena said, trying to keep her voice steady. "Where is Keith now?"

"He's tearing the mansion apart looking for Jenna and sent some men out to search for her in all the safehouses! What the hell happened?! Nicola said Jenna had a miscarriage!" Richard's voice was frantic.

"We had to get out of there. Jenna was in danger," Yilena replied, glancing at me with concern. "Listen, you need to stall him. Tell him she was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Make him believe she's still there."

Richard paused the sound of his heavy breathing filling the car. "Alright, I'll do what I can. But Yilena, if he finds out—"
