Chapter Twenty-Five: Nolan

“We are not kidnapping the Luna, James. What the hell is wrong with you?”

He came running in the bar like a puppy, blabbering about how Paige murdered one of his rogues and now he wants her.

“We are kidnapping Paige. She’s not the Luna yet.”

“Our plan depends on you killing Colin. If you kidnap his mate first, you’ll only make it worse. You kidnap an Alpha’s mate, and that Alpha turns into an invincible beast. He will not stop until she is safe in his arms. You don’t want to give him more reason to kill you.”

I try to reason with him, but I can see it in his eyes. He is already lusting for Paige. After only spending a few minutes with her.
