The rest of the drive into Hope Falls was quiet, Aiden couldn’t stop thinking. He was worried for his mate, if Cody was ruthless enough to blindly kill someone who was helping him, what would he be capable of doing to Alys. “Seriously, you're a vampire!" Killian repeated himself staring at Mike with a calculated look as if he could expel the secrets with a look. Mike glared at him before composing himself and looking around again swearing. His nostrils flared and he stared at them for a minute. “Shit. This isn’t the place for this conversation. I will go sign in and tell the desk sergeant that I want an open patrol. Where can I meet you?” He asked. “We have rooms at the Inn. Alys woke up with a start. She was having another one of those vision dreams and had seen Aiden talking to Mike, in what looked like the police station parking lot. The vision changed again, now she was watching the three wolves that had gone the other way, they had spread out and were slowly stalking towards the cabin watching every move they made carefully, stepping in areas with less leaf coverage, finally they reached their destination and stood watching the cabin from a distance.
