Selene

Alys was back in the blackness again. This time it felt different though. Like she was floating through space. She could feel her body, but she couldn’t move it. She didn’t feel the pain anymore. Did I die? She thought to herself, she probably should have been more worried about that but she felt so peaceful.

‘No, you did not die.’ she heard the whispered voice say to her.

‘Who are you? Are you my wolf?’ She didn’t think they could talk to them, but then again she didn’t know everything about wolves.

‘No I am not your wolf. You will shift soon little one, the ability to talk to your wolves has been lost to time.’ The whisper said to her, she thought she heard a light laugh. ‘I am the moon Goddess Selene.’

‘The moon Goddess? You mean gods and goddesses are real?’ Alys remembered studying ancient history and mythology in school, but she thought it was all just ancient stories.
