Chapter 66

I step outside the room. Walking further in, as I see Ethan cleaning our leftovers, I take hurried steps towards him, wanting to embrace him in a tight hug. I recall the memories of our past meetings. I always spilled bitter words for him. I hated him, even when he didn't do anything bad with me. I feel so guilty for behaving that way.

Without any warning, I wrap my arms around his waist and hug him tightly from behind. Tears escape down from my eyes, as I put my head on his back.

He said he'll turn my hatred into love, and he did it. He has won one more time, and this time I'm not feeling a bit sad about losing to him.

“You've won again, Ethan,” I murmur, choking with emotions.

“What happened?” he asks calmly.

“I’m sorry. Accept my apology. Please,” I sob, feeling guilty for the way I've treated him till date.

“There's nothing to be sorry about,” he says, pulling himself away and turning slightly to face me. “And first tell me, for what reason should I accept your apology?”
