VIVIAN POV

Mrs. Isabella suddenly called me out of the room, and I followed her to a lavish sitting area. Louis was already seated, her eyes fixed on me with an unreadable expression. I was so eager to listen to Mrs. Isabella that I didn't even sit properly, my hands grasping the armrests as I leaned forward.

Then, she spoke the words that would change everything. "I am Kian's mother."

My brain began to repeat her words, like a mantra, as I slowly gazed at her. "I am Kian's mother, I am Kian's mother." The words echoed in my mind, making me feel dizzy and disoriented, my eye began to close like I wanted to fall.

I felt like I had been punched in the gut, my breath knocked out of me. I couldn't process what I was hearing. Mrs. Isabella, the elegant and refined woman sitting in front of me, was Kian's mother?
