CHAPTER 4

“But why did you give in, Ellie? Your not being yourself.” may pagkadismayadong saad ni Celine sa kanya

“I was really influence by the alcohol that time. Hindi na naging maayos ang pag iisip ko.” sagot namn nito Kay Celine.

“You know Ellie, that not because you are influence by an alcohol, eh hindi mo na alam ang ginagawa mo. You know that you are still aware of your surroundings! of what you are doing!” napataas na ang boses ni Celine, kaya naman napatungo nalang si Ellie.

“For god's sake, Khloe Eleanor! You're a med student you know what will happen after you let someone fuck you!” napahikbi nalang si Ellie, dahil hindi na niya alam ang isasagot kay Celine.

“You never let your ex touch you, but you let a stranger fuck you and worst got you pregnant?! Ano nalang ang sasabihin nila Tito?! God Khloe!”

Halo-halo na ang emosyon na nararamdaman ni Celine. But worries is more written on her face. She just needed to scold her since sila palang din naman ang nakakaalam.

“J-just please don't tell t-them, I'll tell them myself when I'm ready, please Celine.” umiiyak nitong saad kay Celine.

Tumango si Celine at inalo ang umiiyak na si Ellie. She rub her back upang tumahan na ito. It's not good to her baby to be stress.

Nang tumahan si Ellie. Celine sits in front of her, she wants to know who got her pregnant.

“Nakilala mo ba ang lalaking nakasama mo noong gabing iyon?” pagtatanong nito sa kanya ng mahinahon. “What is his name? I'll talk to him.”

“No! don't talk to him Celine.”

“And why is that? Dapat ka niyang panagutan Ellie!”

“I didn't know him at first-

“What?!

naputol ang sasabihin ni Ellie dahil sa gulat ni Celine na hindi niya ito nakilala sa gabing iyon.

“But, I recognized him at my after party. Dun ko siya nakilala at naalala.” pagpatuloy ni Ellie sa kanyang sasabihin.

“So, who is he? Why is he at your after party?” agad na tanong ni Celine sa kanya.

“He was introduced to me by my mom.”

“What?!” gulat na saad nito “ Tita introduced him to you?”

Tumango si Ellie. “He was Tito Harls son, Kael Hendrix Castellano.” pagsasabihan niya ng may bahid na pag aalinlangan.

“Oh my god Ellie!”

Celine knows Kael dahil na rin ay kilala ito bilang tagapagmana ng mga negosyo ng kanyang ama. But Ellie is not aware since she was too busy knowing stuff like that.

“What should I do Celine? Ayukong kausapin mo sya about sa condition ko. Saka kakakilala ko lang niya sa after party and I didn't know that Tito Harl had a son. Ang tagal na din nung nakita ko si Tito, it was when I was a kid.”

Naguguluhan man ngunit isa ang gustong mangyari ni Ellie. She wants to know Kael first, she wants to know his background status and anything.

“Celine can you do a background check on Kael? I'm curious about him, baka if agad ko syang sabihan about sa condition ko may asawa na pala sya. I don't want to be a mistress Celine, ayukong yung anak ko ay maging anak sa labas. Please Celine can you help me?”

“I can, but I don't know if I can provide a whole detail about him.” sagot naman ni Celine sa kanya ng may pag-aalala.

“Just at least enough info for me to be aware. And I'll tell you my plan this Friday. Gusto ko munang mag isip-isip.” Ellie stated

She looks pale but it is her natural color. But her eyes can't hide her emotions. Lumapit sa kanya si Celine and hugged her tight.

“I'll help you, sa abot ng aking makakaya. Don't worry Ellie.”

Hindi naging madali ang bawat araw ni Ellie. Dahil na din sa nangyari sa kaniya sa mall at ang revelasyon na ayaw niyang malaman sa tanang buhay niya. Ngunit wala syang ibang magawa kundi ang tanggapin ang naging bunga sa isang pagkakamali niya.

Hindi niya alam kung paano sasabihin sa kanyang mga magulang ang kanyang sitwasyon. But Ellie is not yet ready to let her parents and even her sister and brothers know about it.

Lalo na’t kakagraduate niya palang sa kolehiyo.

They have the money but the humiliation her family can get after knowing that she got pregnant by a stranger na kakakilala niya lang din sa kanyang after party, that would be a disgrace to her family.

Ayaw niyang maging usap-usapan and being the cause of her family's name to be tainted. Kaya, she decides to keep going while bearing the child in her tummy.

On the other day, Celine visited her at their house.

Binati ni Celine ang mommy ni Ellie and excuses herself to go to Ellie's room. Sa loob ng bag ni Celine ay may mga dala itong prutas. She keeps it inside so that Ellie’s mom won't notice.

It's Friday and Ellie already has the plan in mind. While Celine has enough details about Kael.

Habang nagbabalat ng apple si Celine para kay Ellie. Celine also share about what she got.

“Did you know that your Tito is a long-time billionaire? They have a lot of business in Canada and other countries too.” pagsisimula ni Celine.

“I didn't know that, all I knew is that they have a shipping business her in the Philippines. Yun lang ang alam ko and the rest is none.” pagsasagot ni Ellie sa tanong ni Celine

“You have a multi-billionaire father baby.” pagbubulong nito sa tiyan ni Ellie.

Napatawa namn si Celine sa kanyang ginawa.

“Are they really that rich?” tanong ni Ellie habang kumakain ng apple na hiniwa ni Celine.

Tumango sa Celine while slicing the apple.

“What about Kael’s relationship? May pamilya na sya diba?”

“Nope, he doesn't have and you know what is shocking?”

“He is doing a blind date, maraming nakakita sa kanya dahil medjo tutok ang media sa mga Castellano. Ang dami ring nakalinyang babae na gustong makipag blindate sa kanya.”

Nakikinig lamang si Ellie habang kumain. She even got more curious about Kael’s life.

“His father wants him to marry already dahil siya na ang sunod na maglelead ng kanilang business. Which is why he is doing a blind date to find some to marry.”

“Shocks! My plan is so right in the timing!” Kumikinang ang mga matang pagkasabi ni Ellie.

“So, yeah tell me your plans.”

Umayos naman ng upo si Ellie at tinigil ni Celine ang paghihiwa ng prustas.

"Ay wait, nakalock ba yung pinto?" tanong ni Ellie kay Celine.

"Parang hindi, teka check ko." tumayo si Celine at naglakad papunta sa pinto. Celine thumbs up when the door is already locked.

"Diba you say that he's going on a blind date?" Tumango namn si Celine. "Add me to the line up of those girls who wanted to be his blind date. I don't care if it is last in line, just let me in. Pa'no ba sumali sa blind date?"

"I don't know either but I'll ask someone who is an expert on this. Then I'll get back to you after."

They talk more about Ellie's plan. Why she wanted to be in line with those women who wanted to be Kael's blind date.

She wants to be associated with him as soon as possible and after that she will initiate the goal. Which is to be his girlfriend and soon to ask her to be his wife.

She wanted him to cover up her pregnancy through tying a knot in order for her parents to not notice about the changes of her appearance.

If and only if, her plans will work. But if not, mapipilitan siyang gawin ang naiisip niyang 2nd option.
