Chapter sixty four

AMANDA’s POV

The next day, I woke with a heavy heart and the worst was the fact that thoughts of Jason took most part of my heart.

I sighed at intervals once I remembered the countless encounters I’ve had with him in a space of a week and my head couldn’t help throbbing.

He was a difficult person and somehow, I wondered if I would be able to win the challenge of trying to prove that he had a heart.

Countless times, he had showed me that he really doesn’t have a heart, but I wasn’t fully convinced.

Now, what was I meant to do do win that challenge?

I sighed tired as I stood up from the bed and gulped down a cup of water, hoping that my head would stop aching already.

Different thoughts passed through my mind the more I thought of the challenge.

“What if I speak to him until he realizes that he actually has a heart?” This was the first thought I had in my heart. It sounded so ridiculous that I had to shove it aside immediately.
