Chapter sixty seven

AMANDA’s POV

My heart ached terribly the moment he walked out of the room.

Was he really that heartless that he didn’t even care about the injury I had on my neck?

I sniffed hard as I stood to my feet and made way to the mirror. I had tears in my eyes and this time, I didn’t even stop them from falling out. I was pained greatly, especially because I was clearly the one failing in the challenge.

Earlier, after I had seen him succumbing to my seductive moves, I had thought that it would be easy to pull through and prove that he has a heart, but then, he switched up in a way and manner I never thought or imagined.

Now, the question was encircled around the reason for the switch; the strange room.

I dabbed some disinfectant on the injury on my neck after which I sealed it with a bandage. He was a heartless person and even if I wanted to prove that he had a heart, at this point, I didn’t want to say otherwise.
