AMANDA’s POV..

As soon as I laid eyes on Jason, my heart stopped beating. Shock and disbelief coursed through my veins like a raging river. My mind couldn't comprehend what my eyes were seeing. This man standing before me was the very same person who had shattered my heart into a million pieces not too long ago.

I remembered the day vividly, like it had just happened yesterday. I had come home early and decided to surprise him because it was our anniversary, but it was I who was surprised. As I walked into the apartment, I heard strange noises coming from the bedroom. At first, I thought it was just Britney watching some steamy romance movie, but as I drew closer, the sound became unmistakable. It was the sound of two people making love.

My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach, and I couldn't breathe. I knew in my heart what was happening, but my mind refused to accept it. As I pushed open the door, the sight that greeted me was one that would haunt me for the rest of my life. Jaso
