Hearing my words, Mr Wong gives me a cold smile, a smile I'm beginning to hate so much.

" Glad we have agreed. You'd be coming with me to meet my family soon.  Do not make mention of this contract to them. Or anyone for that matter. To the whole world, we met on Jeju Island sometime three years ago, and we hit off and had sex. You left without giving me your contact info and we didn't see each other for three years. Till I ran into you a couple of months ago here in LA and we started seeing each other again then got married cause we can't live without the other. That's easy to understand, isn't it?” He asked like he was daring me to say I didn't.

But how was I supposed to understand all that when he was speaking so fast?

He's looking for reasons to not like me, that much is obvious.

How do I explain to my parents that I came here single and now I'm suddenly married to a freaking billionaire?

“If you would please speak slowly, then it would be appreciated,” I say, faking a smile. And it was clear he heard the sass in my voice because his lips formed a frown as he stared at me, clearly not appreciating the tone.

“An email will be sent to you regarding this. Read it thoroughly and sign the contract.” He tells me, turning around and walking away.

Is he asking me to leave? What about my children?

I watch him as he walks up the staircase, pausing in the middle.

“You can see yourself out. And don't bother about my children. They would me to stay here now with me until you're ready to move in. You can stay a few days without them, right? After all, I stayed three years without my children.”

I couldn't say anything as I watched him leave, fear of really losing my children holding me down.

What if he takes my children away from me?

With a heavy heart, I slowly walked out of the mansion.

Taking a taxi back home.

By the time I got home, he had sent the email.

Sitting before my computer, I read it carefully.

_Contract between Contractor Mr Richard Wong and Contractor Miss Gabriella Armani_

Period of contract: Two years.

Clause one.

In this time frame, Miss Armani is not allowed to see any man or have any sexual relationship because it would be termed as infidelity. If this is not fulfilled, it would lead to immediate termination of the contract.

Clause two.

Miss Armani is not allowed to tell anyone of this contract and she is to move in with Mr Wong until the end of the contract.

Clause three.

Miss Armani is not allowed to fall in love with Mr Wong.

If none of these clauses are broken, at the end of the contract Miss Armani would be paid a total sum of thirty million dollars and would get a new house.

Failure to complete the time agreement or termination of the contract at an undue time by the contractee would lead to her losing her children.

If you have any confusion about anything, reply and attach it to this email.

Have a good day!

I stare at the email, speechless about what to say.

I had thought he was just joking when he had said all this, but how arrogant of him to think that I would want to fall in love with him.

I read the additional email that talked about how we allegedly met and my jaw dropped in disbelief.

We met on Jeju Island. But I've never been there before.

Reading everything thoroughly, I typed a reply editing what I wanted gone and sending ut havk to him.

There's no way I'd be moving in with him and my children won't be living with him too.

The next morning I was at work early, eager to see Mr Wong, I mean my kids. Eager to see my kids. There's no way I'd be eager to see that arrogant man this morning that's the last thing I want.

“Mr Wong asks to see you. He's in his office." The intern coordinator tells me the moment I walk, the look on her face tells me she's wondering what he wants to do with me and why me.

Sending a fake smile her way, I hurry to his office with her on my heels, almost tripping myself.

“Don't make a fool of yourself." She scolds me harshly when we get into the elevator, clicking her tongue in irritation.

When we get to his office, she gives me a once-over before knocking on the door.

The sound of loud children's giggles coming from the other side of the door could be heard.

A “come in" has her pushing open the door.

“Sir, you requested to see.." She was cut short by loud squeals and two voices screaming ‘Mommy’.

My legs were attacked by my babies as they rushed up to hug me.

“What are these girls doing here? How dare you bring your children into the president’s office, they should be thrown out." Maria screams at me, her tone telling me she's ready to have them thrown out.

Instantly, my mom's mood comes on and I shield my babies behind me.

“Who do you think you are to want to throw my children out of my office?" Mr Wong asks coldly and I could feel the temperature drop a bit.

“Pardon? Sir.. I-I didn't... I had thought.." she stuttered, too scared to form a coherent sentence.

“Are you dumb now?" Mr Wong raises a perfectly sculpted brow and I see Maria gulp.

“They called her mommy so I thought..” She trails off looking like a rabbit in the spotlight.

“What is wrong with my children calling my wife mother?" Mr Wong asks making us both stare at him in shock.

"Wife?"
