Rosette's POV

"Damon, is that you?" The words slipped out of my mouth.

"Yes Rose, it's Damon, it's already late, he came over to pick you up" Kara confirmed it and immediately I sat up, the sleep completely gone from my eyes.

She was right.

Damon was here, dressed all black with a frown on his face as he stared at me.

"Hii" I muttered trying to gather myself together as my eyes landed on the clock.

Fuck!

I've been asleep for five solid hours. No wonder Damon had to come get me.

"Ready to go?" Damon questioned without taking his eyes off me.

"Yes, I just need a minute" I replied, packing my hair in a bun as I stood up from the couch.

I staggered a bit but Kara was quick to hold me, "Thank you," I said.

"Yeah, you need to wash your face, you look like a mess," Kara pointed out.

Urghhh.

I knew this already but why did she have to say it out loud, I threw a glance at Damon who was fighting off a smile.

"Thank you" I retorted before fleeing out of the living room.
