As we walked through the park, heading back home. I couldn’t shake the heavy feeling in my chest. I knew I needed to talk to Jack, to clear the air and figure out what we were going to do. But I also knew that doing so would force me to confront my feelings for him, feelings that were growing stronger with each passing day.

When we finally returned to the house, I was relieved to find that Jack was nowhere in sight. I needed more time to gather my thoughts before facing him. I needed to find a way to untangle the web of emotions that had ensnared me, before it was too late.

As Alex and I stood at the door, he leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips. It was a sweet, gentle kiss, filled with all the affection he had for me. But as much as I wanted to lose myself in it, my mind was elsewhere—on the man who was waiting inside, the man who had already claimed a major part of my heart.

"See you tomorrow?" Alex asked, his eyes full of hope.

"Yeah," I replied, trying to sound enthusiastic.

We walked into his office, the tension between us almost suffocating. As soon as the door closed behind us, I turned to face him, ready to confront the truth. “What’s happening between us, Jack?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. “What are we doing?” He didn’t answer right away, his gaze fixed on the floor. When he finally looked up, there was a sadness in his eyes that I hadn’t seen before. “I don’t know, Sophia,” he admitted, his voice raw. “I don’t know what this is, but it’s tearing me apart.” “Me too,” I whispered, feeling the tears welling up in my eyes. “I can’t keep pretending that everything’s okay, because it’s not. And now… now it’s affecting my mom, Jack. She thinks she’s losing you.” Jack winced, the pain in his expression cutting me to the core. “I never wanted to hurt her. Or you. But I can’t keep going on like this, Sophia. It’s driving me insane.” “Then what do we do?” I asked, my voice cracking. “Because

The days following that painful conversation with Jack were a blur for me. I went through the motion of my daily life , but everything felt muted, the weight of Jack's decision hung heavy on me. Each day, i tried to push through hoping that time would dull the ache in my chest. At School, I kept my head down avoiding unnecessary interactions with my classmates. I sat in the back of the classroom, my head resting in my hand as I stared blankly at the notes in front of me. I felt numb, like I was moving through the day in a fog, I wasn't sure how long i could keep up the facade. As the bell rang, signaling the end of class, I slowly began packing up my things, my movements mechanical. Finally, Jack’s eyes flicked up, and he noticed me standing there. His expression shifted from relaxed to tense in an instant, and he pulled his arm away from my mother as if he’d been caught doing something wrong. My mother followed his gaze and turned to look at me, a warm smile on her face.“Hey, sweetheart,” she said, her voice bright. “How was school?”I forced a smile, trying to ignore the tightness in my chest. “It was fine,” I replied, my voice sounding hollow even to my own ears.Jack’s eyes lingered on me for a moment, his expression unreadable. I couldn’t tell if he felt guilty, sad, or something else entirely, but I couldn’t bear to look at him for too long. I quickly shifted my gaze to my mother, focusing on her instead.“I’m just going to head up to my room,” I said, already turning to leave before they could respond.“Oh, okay,” my mother said, a hint of concern in her voice. “If you need anything, just let us know.”“Thanks,”

Rachel couldn’t shake the thoughts of Sophia’s confession from her mind. The more she mulled it over, the more determined she became to take action. She cared for Sophia, but she also couldn’t ignore the feelings she had been harboring for Alex. It wasn’t just about the secret anymore; it was about what she wanted too. That afternoon, Rachel made a decision. She grabbed her keys and headed over to Alex’s place, her heart pounding in her chest. She didn’t call ahead—this was something that needed to be done in person, without giving him the chance to brush her off. When she arrived at Alex’s door, she took a deep breath before knocking. The door opened a moment later, and Alex’s surprised face appeared. “Rachel?” he said, eyebrows raised. “What are you doing here?” “Hey, Alex,” she replied, offering him a tentative smile. “I hope you don’t mind me dropping by unannounced. I just… I needed to talk to you.” Alex frowned slightly, but he stepped aside to let her in. “Sure, come in.

The next day, I decided to distract myself the best way I knew how—spending time with Alex. We had been planning to go shopping together for a while now, and it felt like the perfect opportunity to clear my mind, or at least try to.As we walked through the mall, surrounded by the bustle of people, I did my best to focus on Alex. He was his usual sweet, thoughtful self, pointing out stores he thought I’d like and cracking jokes to keep the mood light. But no matter how hard I tried to focus on him, I couldn’t shake the thoughts of Jack from my mind. I had skipped breakfast, but i was hungry now and i needed to eat.As I made my way downstairs, I heard my mother and Jack in the kitchen, their voices light and carefree. The dim light of the bedroom cast shadows on the walls, and the world outside seemed to fade away as Jack gently set me down on the bed. His touch was tender, his gaze unwavering as if he were memorizing every detail of this moment.“Sophia...” he whispered again, his voice a mixture of longing and restraint.I reached for him, pulling him closer, silencing his hesitation with another kiss. The intensity grew, and for a while, everything else ceased to exist—no secrets, no lies, no guilt. Just us.My breath hissed in wonder at the sensation of him inside me, it has been a while since we were together like this. It had been a very long time since i'd been on top, and I liked it. I rocjed my hips down over his cock, and got rewarded by a low grunt from Jack. Encouraged, I swirled my hips over his in circular motions that reminded me how big he was, how well he filled me, how good he felt inside me. My hands moved to his chest, teasing his nipples as I rocked gently atop him."Touch me,

Jack guided me to the couch, his arm still loosely wrapped around my shoulders. The weight of the world felt lighter in his presence, even if only for a little while.“I told her, Jack,” I said softly, breaking the silence. “About my feelings for you. About us... and now she’s demanding I keep the baby and do whatever she says.”He let out a low, frustrated sigh. “Karen doesn’t forgive easily. She’s definitely up to something.”I nodded, tears welling up again. “I don’t know what to do. I agreed to her terms because I just wanted her to stop looking at me like I’m a stranger, like I ruined everything.”Jack leaned back, running a hand over his face. “Sophia, you didn’t ruin everything. I—” He stopped, his jaw tightening. “I should’ve stopped this before it got to this point. You’re in the middle of a storm I helped create.”I reached for his hand, squeezing it tightly. “Don’t do that. We’re in this together. I sat nervously at the edge of the couch in the living room, my hands trembling as I waited for my mother to join me. I had pleaded with her to have a word. All through last night I couldn't sleep, I couldn't bear the fact that my mother was hurting because of me and my selfish actions. The air was thick with tension, and as the door to the living room creeked opened, my heart jumped. When Karen finally walked in, her presence was as commanding as ever—poised, but her eyes sharp and unreadable.Karen’s gaze swept over me, lingering for a second too long before she sat across from me. “What is this about, Sophia?” she asked coolly, folding her hands akimbo.I swallowed hard, suddenly unsure of how to begin. “Mom... I wanted to talk about everything. About the baby. You had an affair with my own daughter, under my very nose and you're acting like you had no choice. But you had choices. You always had choices.”Jack’s jaw tightened as he looked at her. “I didn’t ask for this. But I didn’t want to lose you. I didn’t want to lose Sophia. I wanted to undo everything, to take back the confession that had shattered her world, but it was too late. The house was so quiet, every sound seemed amplified—the creak of the floorboards, the tick of the clock, the low hum of the refrigerator. The air in my room felt suffocating, my mother's confession still hanging thick between us. Her revelation stirred a storm of emotions—shock, confusion, and the tiniest glimmer of guilt. She was questioning her choice to stay with Jack, and all I could think about was how precarious our lives were, balanced on the edge of lies and hidden truths.Karen’s gaze softened as she studied me. “Sophia, I didn’t mean to overwhelm you with all of this tonight. I just... I didn’t want to keep you in the dark anymore.”I nodded faintly, though her words barely registered. My mind was already spinning with the implications of what she’d said. If she was doubting her commitment to Jack, it could mean an escape for both of us. Jack would no longer have to deal with the blackmail, and I could—what? Come clean? Start fresh? And possibly, with Jack by my side. The thought sent a chill down my spine. It wasn’t that simple.Karen reached out, her hand brushing against mine. “I just want us to be okay, So

Inside the house, the tension was suffocating. Karen stormed upstairs without another word, her heels echoing on the wooden staircase. Jack lingered in the living room, his phone clutched in his hand. His shoulders slumped as though the weight of his secrets had finally become unbearable. I stood by the door, unsure whether to follow my mother or seize the opportunity and talk to Jack. My thoughts were spinning, but one thing was clear—this was spiraling out of control.Jack turned toward me, his face a mix of exhaustion and frustration. “Sophia, we need to talk.”The words sent a jolt through me. Slowly, I nodded, and he motioned for me to follow him into his study. The room was dimly lit, the faint smell of leather and cigar smoke clinging to the air. Jack closed the door behind us and sat heavily in the chair behind his desk. He gestured for me to sit across from him, but I remained standing, my arms crossed defensively.“What's the 20 million dollars about?” I asked, my voice sha

The tires screeched, and my heart lurched in my chest. “Karen, give me the phone,” he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.“No.” Karen held the phone tightly, her eyes blazing with anger now. “You’re being blackmailed for twenty million dollars? What truth are they threatening to expose?”“This isn’t the place,” Jack snapped, his voice taut with frustration. “We’ll talk about it when we get home.”“No!” Karen’s voice rose, her anger boiling over. “We’ll talk about it now, Jack. Her question lingered in the air, each word slicing through the tension like a blade. My throat tightened, and I struggled to meet her gaze. Was there something I wasn’t telling her? Everything, in fact. The affair. The secrets. The baby. My entire world felt like it was unraveling at the seams, and I was the thread pulling it apart.“I…” My voice faltered. Jack’s gaze was burning into me, silent but commanding. His grip on his glass tightened to the point I thought it might shatter. She didn’t seem convinced, and the weight of her disappointment crushed me. “Overwhelmed?” she echoed, her tone tinged with disbelief. “Sophia, if something is going on, I need you to tell
