Angel POV.

"Hunter, did I see what I think I just saw?" Logan says we're back at home, it took him another thirty minutes to get home and it took me fifteen of those thirty to notice him gone, I didn't know that he wasn't here, I thought he just beat us home.

"How did your meeting go?" Hunter answers him instead.

"My meeting went well, but please tell me that Angel, our little, child we're adopting wasn't sitting in your lap while you drove," he says in a firm voice, looking at Hunter like he's ready to eat him alive, and seeing the bags in his arms and the smell, maybe he's hungry, and that's why he's angry.

"She was sitting next to me, we're still working on her car seat," Hunter says and I have to hold my laugh back, he's really mad, and I'm cheering on Logan, he should beat his ass.

"The camera shows her right in your lap detective, do I have to remind you that you're part of the police department and you're not supposed to be driving when she's not in her designated seat," Lo
