Hunter POV.

I didn't mean to hit him, well I did mean to hit him, but I didn't mean to hurt him that badly, but I clearly did, that got my mate mad, very mad at me for what I did, and then punishing our little didn't sit well with him either, I felt like I'm being sent to the dog house for the next couple days.

"Logan, come on, what did you expect me to do?" I ask my mate, good thing the child wasn't along with us, seeing the fight we're having right now would be very disturbing for her.

"Not to hit him, if you end up in trouble and then William decides we're not fit to have a little," he reminds me, not every vampire out there is allowed to have a human, some don't want humans, and others are too violent to have one yet, maybe in a year or ten.

"It won't be that bad, I messed up but in my defence, he had my little in his place," I defend myself.
