Blake’s POV

I barely had time to catch my breath when my Beta, Felix burst into my chamber, his face a mask of concern. "Alpha Blake, we have a situation," he said, his voice steady but urgent.

I looked up, my brows furrowing and my eyes narrowing. "What is it now?"I said

"The guards have just reported another strange movement at the pack gate. This time, it seems more serious," my Beta Felix replied, handing me a hastily written report.

My eyes skimmed the paper, my expression darkening further with every word I read. "Summon the elders immediately," I ordered. "We must rectify this before things get worse.

My Beta Felix nodded and left to go do as I had ordered. I stood to my feet, the weight of leadership settling heavily on me. My eyes turned toward the chamber where Gwen lay, still recovering from the recent attack.

The memory of her scalded skin burned brightly in my mind once more. I would do whatever it took to protect my pack, my Luna.

A few minutes later, I entered the c
