I crouched down from the bed and stepped towards the door. I peeked through the spyhole, and it was damn Avalor.

"What are you doing here, Avalor? I thought you were clear when you said you never wanted to see my face again." Anger began to simmer in my heart as the thought of what the pack healer said to me crossed my mind.

"Open the door, Hilda."

Please, Alpha Avalor, say whatever you want to say."

"Oh, I see they now address me as Alpha Avalor."

'I think it is best you leave me, sir. Please leave me alone. Allow me to have some peace. I don't ever want to see your freaky face either."

"You asked me to leave your kingdom. Remember, or have you forgotten so soon?" I sighed aloud.

"Hilda…!" He took a breath and let it out aloud.

His aura suffocated my nostrils, and I tried hard not to fall for it. What does he take me for? A football that he plays with?

"Why not just open the door for him? Hear him out, please, girlfriend," Avira began to plead in my head.
