Chapter Fifty Three

ELYSIA'S POV:

My eyelids were heavy and they hurt badly as I tried to force them open, and with the way the light shone on my eyes, I thought I had died and was in heaven already.

I felt as if I was floating in an endless layer of cloud, the only thing managed to keep me in touch with reality is the pain and heaviness I felt all over my body and my eyes. I managed to probe my eyes open, and all were saw were cloudy blurry images all over the room I was in. I managed to life my right hand and rubbed my eyes slightly with it, and the mists covering my eyes started to disperse slowly. It finally came to my awareness that I was not in heaven as I had thought, I was lying on a soft bed which didn't feel like my bed, neither did it feel like the hard floor in Alpha Jace's dungeon where I was tied with chains.

My breath hitched when the cloud like substance covering my face fully dispersed and I saw an image which immediately caused all the memories of everything that happened recently to fl
