ELYSIA'S POV

I was feeling extremely dizzy and unable to open my eyes. By the time we arrived at the hospital, I had become so weak that I could barely even move my hands.

The doctor asked for me to be laid down on the bed while he checked me and placed me on a drip while Asher sat on the bed beside me.

The doctor took samples of my blood and went to the lab to run some tests.

By the time he returned to the room, I was already feeling a bit better, more than I felt earlier when Asher had come with me to the hospital. The drip seemed to have done its job.

"How is she?" Asher asked the doctor the moment he came in and we were informed that I was a few weeks pregnant.

"Let me see that," Asher said and took the envelope from his hand. His eyes lit up as soon as he went through the contents.

"Is it true?" I asked Asher, sitting up on the bed so fast that I almost felt dizzy.

The news of my pregnancy came as a great relief and brought great satisfaction, at least in the midst of all the bad
