Lyanna Stuart
The next day, I woke up from a strange dream, I catched my breathe and tried to remember what it was all about. There were image flashing before me. Skye was there, she was trying to kill me but then a black shadow appears... consuming- sucking the soul out of me. I saw glimpse of JD and Arthur calling out my name.
I was standing on top of many dead bodies.
Death on my viridian sleeves and red lips.
What was that all about?
The last time I had a dream like that... it foretold everything about the war. Was this another prophecy? But what it is telling me? Could it be that Arthur's alive? I mean that would nullify my magic's requirement explaining the massive deaths... right?
I shake my head and tried to get it out of my mind. I took a deep breathe and chuckled, "I would do everything just
Lyanna StuartAs sson as the classes ended, I walked my way back to the library. I grabbed the first book I managed to reach and proceeded to the forest per my usual routine. Suddenly, as I was on my way to make a turn, I suddenly dropped the book from the ground as I saw Tate appearing in front of me.I scoffed, "Woah, I didn't see you there. What-""What do you think you're doing?" Tate aggresively grabbed my arms, he seemed so pissed off with those glaring eyes, "You're too damn reckless.""What are you talking about? What are you so mad about?" I protested"You almost got killed earlier! Were you even thinking?""Killed? I don't understand." I continued to protest and groaned as he tightens his grip around my wrist. I said, "You're hurting me.""Or am I now?" Tat
Tate GlassglowI had no idea what Lyanna was thinking but she suddenly called out Skye's name so I had no choice but to transform into my original demon form to try and protect her. I must be crazy for doing this! How the hell am I supposed to get that contract now? No human would dare to sign a contract if they knew they were actually selling it to a demon. That's just how it works and now it's all a mess.Skye cracked her neck and stretched her legs, she is provoking me- as if a goblin ever scared a demon. She asked me intentionally to catch me off guard, "Oh ho, you care to much about a feeble human that you'd sacrifice being seen in your original demon form just to protect her? How low you've stoop down, Tate."I glanced back at Lyanna for a while but then Lyanna suddenly rushed towards me to push me to the side as Skye launched an attack.Lyanna fell t
Lyanna StuartWrath, Pride, Sloth, Greed, Envy, Gluttony and Lust. Each major demon is assigned to one and their descedants will carry the line of the pure and powerful.I head back to the library and tried to read as many reference there is to demons. The librarian even gave me the look as he clicks his tongue in disappointment, he remarked as I carried the book on my way back, "Your generation is hopeless."I ignored him. There are far more things to know and sometimes, I envy everyone- not knowing a world where creatures and mythologies exists. If I had forgotten about it completely, I wouldn't be so miserable... but who am I kidding?I won't even let myself forget. While reading about it, I remembered the demons back in Dr. Marle's office, considering that they didn't have the powers described here in the book- it probably
Tate GlassglowI went back to the other world- one fo the best things about being a demon is that we are capable of entering and leaving both worlds as we please. Whether you deny it or not, demons exists where evil thoughts manifest us and to be fair, that is in fact everywhere. But we are- to some extent still bound by laws and limitations. All we demons can do is to offer humans a choice, whether they are desperate enough to sell their souls and angels cannot interfere with our business because as their god proclaimed: "Humans are gifted with free will and must act according to their own choices."Terrible fate but at least they'll have no one to blame but themselves but the funny thing is... humans love to blame everything on us.Let me remind you humans, we are nothing but a manifestation of your own evilness inside so cut the pity party, humans chose this... just as Lyann
Arthur LangdonJD had to help me get back to the hideout to safely hide the fact that I'm alive. The whole nation is put on edge as the dragon clan's eldest died- I am indeed the most powerful and the one the prophecy said so.But knowing my death is what's putting the war on hold- the dragons are mourning as the other creatures are prepping to take back the title of strongest.JD protested, "What the hell were you thinking? If anyone else saw you-""But no one did.""IF they did!" JD continued with a sharp tone, "You're not even strong enough to take care of yourself, if the creatures found out that your death is a lie, they'd challenge our clan and we will be obliterated so don't go wandering off and worrying about someone else when you don't even have the strength to protect yourself.""That demon- he's Satan's
Lyanna StuartBeing with Tate feels secure, warm and muted. My world begins to look a lot like in earth tones. It's not the most striking colors but it gives me peace. Tate became the one grounding me back when things get tough. Arthur was dead and Tte told me even he couldn't bring him back. There was no other way but to move forward without the hope of seeing Arthur again.Sure it's slow but it's progress and everyday, I start to be a little more okay and everything is okay. I just hope it stays that way. I lived in fear that whenever happy is happening to me right now, a great deal of pain is ahead. It may sound gloomy but so far, that's how life was for me.Soon after, my thoughts we cut off as Tate sneaks in from my window. I chuckled after seeing him with some tree branches hanging loosely on his black hair. I took i
Lyanna StuartI was surprised to see them and without a warning, they had intended to kill me on sight and if it wasn't for Tate, I would have already been dead. They talked to each other in some latin language of some sort but more ancient that I couldn't understand it even if I tried. It didn't even sound familiar but it scared me but then, Tate looked at me with that face and somehow I knew.That... was the same face Arthur made before he left me. I felt a sharp sting in my heart. Was it happening again? Will he leave just like Arthur did? Slowly, I could feel my ground crumbling before my feet and there was nothing to do but fall once again. As soon as the other demons left, I immediately ran towards Tate and tended his wounds. I didn't know demons could bleed and that their blood is strikingly similar to ours. I said as I held onto his hand, "Are you okay? This seems deep. I'll
Arthur LangdonI won't lie. There have been days that I would find myself walking towards Lyanna- I kept saying to myself: "Just one more time.", "A quick glance and I'll go." but I know I'll never be satisfied with just that and so in each time, I stop myself.I have this reality check that we can't really be together.Besides, Tate is half human, his chances of being with Lyanna are better than my odds.Days have gone by- weeks even... I could barely keep up with the dates but all I know is that every other race is awaiting our father's stepping down as the strongest. Without a pure heir, everyone knows dragons are not much threat and it's the end of our legacy.JD comes back inside the hideout, frustrated and tired as he slumps to the couch after grabbing a beer or so.I asked, "How was it? Wh
Lyanna Stuart Violet eyes and silver hair. Broad smile and sharp jaw, I turned around and saw him. I saw Arthur and just like a magic trick, I began to remember everything. I remembered Arthut. I remembered how we met, how we were happy together, how I killed him and how I met hims again. I... remembered how much I love him. I was tearing up but I was smiling from ear to ear. One step at a time, I moved my trembling feet and soon, I sprinted up to hug him tightly. I was crying so much but Arthur hugged me, he lifted me up the ground and he said, "Hey there little lady, I missed you." "Art, I missed you too!" I said then I let go even though I was still crying, I asked, "What- Why are you here? You can't be here. This is the human realm... right? How are you here?" Arthur glanced at the horizon as if someon was there, then he averted his g
Tate GlassglowIt's been weeks since I last saw her. After Lyanna used her blue flame to close realms, I stayed back here on hell as its ruler. Once the last dragon slayer- the last wielder of the blue flame returns to the human realm, the war continued subsided. There will always be another reason to start wars but the fairies are leaderless, the dragons are almost extinct, the witches lost the one thing to fight for- the blue flame and the wolves had gotten their revenge on the fairies.Everything is peaceful for now.The demons are back to hell. We have no intention of joining the mess up in their realm. I'll let them deal with it, after all, souls are what we need not hierarchy. Souls are what nourish us.I miss her.I miss Lyanna so bad.A fellow demon asked me, "My lord, aren't you getting rid of that remaining huma
Lyanna StuartA bright light. The smell and feeling of something burning. I slowly opened my eyes seeing a blurry image of a white ceiling light. I could hear muffled voices but it all sounded gibberish to me.I opened my eyes completely now seeing the white tiles surrounding me, the fresh plant by the table and my hands covered with apparatus. I was confused. I groaned, "Mom?"Mom almost choked, she quickly puts out her cigarettes and opened the window to air it all out, she muttered, "Ah sh*t, I'm sorry honey, are you okay?""What happened?" I asked, "Where am I? Where's Clarisse? Where are the rest?""The rest?" She looked at me raising an eyebrow in confusion, "You must be confused, the neighbors found you and Clarisse outside the forest all wounded and bruised. They said a wild animal attacked you. People said there are wild beasts lurkin
Lyanna Stuart I manifested my blue flame into lightning- as a balance type, I am able to amplify my flames into lightning but at the price of my stamina. It increased my speed tenfold- enough to avoid each attack Clarisse threw at me. Lightning bolts are now coming out of my entire body to keep me safe and increase my agility. Crap, at thise rate, I would only last another hour at best! Clarisse continued to use his manifestation of destruction- slicing and turning everything into dust. Our movements were at par with each other, I could keep up with Clarisse’s attacks as could she withstand mine. I shoot full power lightning directly towards her direction but it doesn't faze her at all. Again, it has to be stronger! I concentrated all power to my palms giving up all intentions of protecting my body. Clarisse saw this opportunity and laug
Lyanna Stuart I was helpless. I couldn't move, tell me, how could I possibly do anything- it's my sister I'm up against and right now, she's being controlled by the blue flame. She wouldn't stop until I die or she does. How do I... do this? I hated it. I hated feeling this way. What was the point? Why should it be me? I'm contemplating on everything and I know I shouldn't because the longer I stall, the longer Clarisse bring destruction everywhere. But how could I possibly decide? If someone else were to decide, what would they have chosen? I felt so lost. The demons were helplessly retreating back to hell and the fairies were dominating. Maybe all this was futile effort after all. Maybe i
Tate Glassglow Just when I felt like giving up, I saw Lyanna and Arthur rushed towards my side but Arthur wasn't able to enter the fairy queen's barrier beause he's a dragon. However, Lyanna easily entered the barrier, she was crying her eyes out as she saw me, she hugged me, "Tate, don't leave me, okay? You're okay. We're going to be okay." "Ah... this must be what heaven feels like." I muttered with my eyes closed. It feels very tempting to just rest there without any care in the world. I wanted to escape it as badly as Lyanna did. I saw a glimpse of Lyanna's wrist. She wasn't the one binded to the fairy queen. Thank goodness. I said, "I'm glad." "Tate! Wake up." Lyanna was crying, "Tate, come on, get up, you're okay... right? My soul is in contract, you would never leave. That was our contract in exchange of my soul, right?"
--------------- Meanwhile, as Skye reunites with Lyanna and Arthur from the other side of the lair, Tate Glassglow was lying weakly to the ground with his black blood all over the floor. He fought against the fairy queen who effortlessly beaten him to pulp. Tate knew he was in trouble. ---------------- Tate Glassglow Ah crap, I can barely feel my legs. That attack that literally exploded the whole room left me powerless. The fairy queen blasted me with her binding magic. She released a strong and effective rune that binded my limbs from releasing critical attacks along with her anti-demon whip. The fairy queen whipped me brutally, it starts to burn me quite literally. And on top of that, I can't kill her. I recognize that runes on her wrists, she's binded herself to someone else. Crap, these damn fairies really took it up to notch that they are
----------------A few moments before breaking into the fairies' lair----------------Arthur LangdonAs impatient as we all are, Tate took it up a notch as he actually activated an old pentagram drawn at the land where the fairies constructed their lair. This is indeed a demon's turf. I asked, "How come none of the other creatures knew about this? The fairies certainly aren't that stupid to choose a demon's turf as their lair."Tate cockily replied, "They didn't know. It's one of my father's best work. Satan secretly lured them into using this land as their lair. He intentionally used this land for when the time comes that the fairies tried to double cross us.""I must say, your race has always been kind of a jerk but this is cool." JD remarked"Oh, do praise us more." Tate joked around but it's obvious how he's barely ho
Lyanna Stuart I couldn't believe my eyes but it's really Raya standing in front of me. All I could mutter was her name and in disbelief, I repeated my question, "Are you really... Raya?" Raya looked at me with a smile and nodded, "Indeed I am." "What are you doing here?" I looked around but the surrounding is still ghostly white, I asked, "Am I dead? Is that why I can see you?" "Walk with me, Lyanna." Raya reached out for my hand and I hesitantly grabbed hers, we walked around the white walls and pavements, there was really nothing to see but for some reason, Raya kept walking anyway. She broke the silence finally and said, "How was your human life? I... must say I envy you. You had a shot at the human life I desperately wanted." I looked above and remembered about Tate and all my frien
