One and a half month.

He had kept in her for a whole month to sabotage her thinking, taking a control over her mind. To cover up his insecurities that she won't think of any man ever in her life again.

As he sat in his office, waiting for the time to elapse and night to commence with his eyes fixed on a feminine ring which didn't appear to belong to the present-time. It manifested, past, memories, unspoken tales.

Such a selfless love that utmost love of her husband was dimmed infront of it.

No doubt it was a miraculous love.

Shehryaar..."Salam baba," He said and her face paled as she went breathless. The call cursorily ran in her mind as she quickly stood up from her position. A smile sprawled on Haider's face upon seeing his son, "you came after alot of days," he exclaimed while sitting up properly as Shehryaar came and sat beside him on the bed. "How are you?" Shehryaar asked."Good. Rather great. Was telling one of my infamous stories to my daughter-in-law," Haider pointed towards Sheharzaad who stood there. Her breathing slightly mingled. As soon as Shehryaar's attention went on her, she took a small step back while staring at him with a paled face. "Assalam-assalam alaikum," she managed to utter with difficulty as her eyes met his. And his gaze lingered on her for a while stealing her breath before atlast he gave her a nod of acknowledgement.Did he come to know about the phone call?It made her face pale further. The next day at the dinner, the maid had entered her room, saying every one has to be at the table according to the orders given to them as an announcement has to be made. She had purposely skipped her breakfast and lunch first, because Shehryaar had come back, second, she wasn't feeling well. She got up, showered, changed her clothes and once she was ready she went outside her room. Sometimes, it felt so surreal to her that she could walk, that she could open the handle of the room and just step out and walk. Walk as much as she could. Her feet weren't bound to anything. This little thing felt such a big blessing to her that she still to the date wasn't able to put it in her words. Reaching the dining table, she sat quietly on the chair next to Shehryaar. His chair as usual was empty. Half of the table was empty while half was the haveli members. She could hear voices of his cousins enjoying. Her legs sandwiched between his when he had made a call asking for the details of all the incoming and outgoing calls for the last two weeks. While he was giving instructions in the phone, his eyes were on Sheharzaad as he was playing with a few stray strands of her hair that managed to escaped from her pony tail. Once done making the call, he went to the table looking for something and now came back again.

"Why would Shehryaar want Haseeb's and Dua's marriage?" Asma, Haseeb's mother said to her husband Haroon once they reached their room after dinner."I wonder what made Shehryaar reach this decision," he said, "nevertheless, he is the enthroned head, we've to accept whatever decision he makes. Hope it would be better for our son. Dua is a nice girl," "Haroon, you know, you need to get out of this thinking. Where is our share? Is all the power, status and wealth is supposed to be distributed among the children of Jaha Ara? Why not Haseeb or my son Saif could govern the haveli and the business as Irtaza and Shehryaar do. Why you always have to bow down to their decisions?" She stated while brushing her hair."You are very well aware, Asma, I can't go against my father.
