Humiliation

Nikolai saw the girl tied to the chair. Her hair is covering most of her face. But her eyes, a unique shade of green which he never saw in his life are looking at him with fear. He liked it. He liked her fear. That's what makes them do stupid things and give him what he wanted. And he wants her father. He is sure she knows where he is.

"Where is your father" he demanded. His voice calm, but no one can miss the darkness seeping from his tone. Even his men are tensed.

As the death anniversary of his parents is approaching, his anger is rising. He becomes destructive as the day nears.

Ivy's breathing became shallow as the weight of her fear started to suffocate her. No one can deny that Nikolai is handsome. But at that moment, she understood why he was called Hades. He is holding her life in his palms, ready to crush it at any given time. She couldn't control her tears. She knows that he will kill her if she doesn't give up her father's location. But she really doesn't know where her father is. Even if she does, she would never risk his life. He is all she got.

"I don't know" she whispered. Her voice is almost inaudible. But he heard her. And he didn't like it. He killed a man a few hours ago for giving him the same answer. He erased the distance between them in two long strides.

He fisted her hair and pulled her head back, so that she is looking at him straight into his eyes. For a split second, he froze as her green orbs clashed with his pitch black eyes. There is fear in her eyes and also resolution. She is not going to tell him where her father is. He understood that.

A slow smirk appeared on his face. It's more dangerous than his anger. Ivy understood that she is not going to like whatever is running in his head.

"Shawn, bring that boy here. What was his name again?" Nikolai inquired.

Shawn immediately opened Ivy's file and read the details of Jason.

"His name is Jason, boss. They both are childhood friends and that boy is in love with her" Shawn read the details they collected.

Ivy likes Jason too. But she doesn't know that the latter is in love with her too.

"No, please don't. Please, Jason is innocent. Please don't hurt him. Please" Ivy tugged at her binds and begged for Jason.

Nikolai is unaffected by her begging. It's just an annoying sound to him. He flicked his hand. That was all it took to push his men into action.

Ivy is desperate by this point. She cannot let these men hurt Jason. He doesn't deserve this fate.

"Please, Jason is innocent" Ivy's begging was ignored by Nikolai.

He turned to leave.

"Torture that boy untill she is ready to tell where her father is" Nikolai instructed Shawn and was about to leave.

Ivy is stunned to hear this. Jason is her best friend. His parents treated Ivy like their daughter. They are old and Jason is the only bread winner of their family. If something happens to him, his parents will suffer.

"No, please don't. Jason doesn't know anything. Please leave him out of this" she begged with desparation.

Her words caught Nikolai's attention. Slowly he turned to face her with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"He doesn't know anything? So you know something. What is it?" he inquired coldly.

Ivy froze with shock. She revealed more than she should have. She was not supposed to open her mouth at all. But today she gave up the secret they hid for a decade.

"I.. I..." she stuttered, but couldn't comeup anything to convince him. Now, she might atleast have a chance to stay alive. But she is sure that he would kill her if she tells him that secret.

"Speak up" he roared with fury.

She shivered with fear. He is pissed and that's scary.

"It's nothing" she lied. She is so scared that her brain froze and she couldn't come up with anything to convince him.

Nikolai is not a very patient man. He can see that she is hiding something. He squeezed her cheeks between his rough fingers hard enough to make her wince with pain. He pulled her hair back with the other hand.

"What do you know about my parents death?" he demanded with a coldness that made her freeze in the chair. Tears of desperation and fear are streaming down her cheeks. His hold on her hair is rough and very painful. He is squeezing her cheeks roughly to the point that her teeth are cutting into the skin of her cheeks.

"Nothing" she lied again. She is terrified, but she is not stupid enough to tell him that she saw his parents getting shot. Hiding it for so long will definitely earn her a very painful death from him.

Nikolai is furious. He roughly cut the ties that are binding her to the chair and roughly pulled her to her feet by her hair.

"Well, I am sure you will co-operate now" he sneered.

Ivy didn't understand what he meant untill he started to tear her clothes. The plain t-shirt she was wearing is now in shreds. He was about to snap her bra, but she pushed him away and tried to run. But he caught her easily. He is an animal who lack empathy. She didn't see a flicker of emotion in his gaze apart from anger from the moment she saw him. When he was about to tear her bra, she lifted her knee to kick him in the balls. But he already anticipated her move and restrained her legs between his. In her desperation, she fisted her palm and punched him with all her might, but he didn't even wince.

Her bra came undone with one hard tug. She covered her bare torso with her arms. She is so humiliated, that she screamed at him.

"You are not any better than the men who killed your parents" she screamed feeling fear and shame.

That did it. For the first time, she noticed a semblance of an emotion passing through his eyes.

Suddenly, the loud noise of gun firing rang around the warehouse. Nikolai pulled the trigger of his gun untill it's empty.

Shawn came running inside. He saw Ivy's half dressed state and the fury in his boss's eyes. He immediately ran outside with fear.
