CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

Two years later, I noticed the Arletan wolves suddenly coming out in packs and claiming that any strange families of people would be forced to be under their government.

It seemed like I was the only one who took it to observation. I didn't want to disclose it to anyone.

Lachie was already a two year old boy, trying to learn how life was in Arleta. Angus had already paid for the construction of a new house to accommodate the three of us.

Ever since then, I hadn't felt comfortable. I kept receiving sudden visitations from my ghost mother, and she wouldn't stop appearing to me.

The night hurried, drawing dark clouds down and spreading the atmosphere with a gusty wind. There were wolves who had sought to join us and attack Alpha Thane's kingdom and some of them stood outside watching out for the rogues.

    The atmosphere was tense. It came with the rustle of wolves’ claws, making a noise and sending too much cold indoors.
