Alexei

I found myself seated at the center of a long table, my gaze locked onto a colossal portrait of a man I despised with every fiber of my being. He was Constantine Frost, the infamous alpha of the Blackmoon Pack and the wolf who had caused all my miseries.

My fingers curled around a glass of wine, the delicate crystal on the verge of breaking under the pressure of my grip. I couldn't tear my eyes away from that imposing image, and it infuriated me to my core.

As I continued to glare at the portrait, my knuckles whitened. The wineglass in my hand finally gave in, shattering into a thousand pieces. The shards poked my skin, causing the crimson liquid with a metallic smell to seep from my body. And yet, despite this, I never felt an ounce of pain. Perhaps nothing could be worse than the pain Constantine had inflicted on me years ago. My body had become numb to it.

"Think of it as a final blessing we didn't cross our paths again," I muttered bitterly to myself. "You must be laughing

AlexeiAs I finished, the atmosphere in the campgrounds grew heavy with tension. The murmurs of disapproval began to ripple through the gathered rogues, and their faces showed signs of unrest. I scanned the surroundings, taking in the details of the scene. Some stood with their arms crossed, defiance etched across their features, while others exchanged worried glances and whispered among themselves. The wind rustled through the leaves, carrying with it the scent of the forest and the weight of the moment. The very ground we stood on seemed to hold its breath, awaiting the outcome of this decision I had made.It was clear that my announcement had stirred disapproval among some of my loyal followers. As I continued surveying the scene, the tension was palpable."We're living luxuriously here! “Don't take this heaven away from us!”"We feel like royalties in here! We have our own maids! The murmurs of disagreement from the men echoed through the campgrounds, creating a tense atmosphere

SethMy frustration with Alexei had reached a boiling point, and I couldn't help but be filled with resentment. As I raised my glass to my lips, the bitterness in my heart overflowed like the alcohol coursing through my veins."We built this army together," I muttered, my voice tinged with a mixture of anger and disappointment. I paused for a moment, my gaze locked on the amber liquid in my glass as if searching for answers. "But look what I got? That bastard didn't even see me as his equal." I downed the drink in one swift motion, my frustration bubbling to the surface like a tempestuous storm. Daruk, my loyal right-hand man, could sense the intensity of my emotions and shared in my exasperation."He only sees me as a tool," I continued, my tone growing more embittered by the second. "After I've worked my way into his inner circle, he takes all the credit while lounging around, doing nothing."Daruk slammed his mug down on the wooden table, the sound resonating with the weight of ou

CarrieThat morning, my day began with the soft glow of dawn seeping through my curtains, casting a gentle warmth across the modest maid's quarters that had become my new home. It was a stark contrast from the comfort of my own bed before the rogue attack, but over time, I had grown accustomed to the simple surroundings. After a quick shower and a straightforward breakfast, I dressed in the crisp, clean uniform provided for me. As I stepped out of my room, I walked purposefully down the dimly lit corridor, each step echoing softly on the wooden floor. Finally, I reached the rogue leader’s room and prepared to do my usual job there. Unlike before, I wasn't as scared to be in the same room with him, though I remained cautious. I still didn't have any idea why Alexei had saved me multiple times, and there had been no sign of aggression or inappropriate behavior since I became his personal maid, excluding the rough start we had on the first day.I knocked on the door, announced my arriva

Carrie That morning, Anya and the other maids were bustling around the pack house, each immersed in their respective housework tasks. The air was filled with the clinking of dishes, left and right swishes of brooms sweeping away dust, and the occasional hum of a maid softly singing a tune while working diligently trying to find some distraction from doing an arduous task. Meanwhile, I had just completed my daily tasks in Alexei’s room. My heart raced with urgency to share the vital information I had stumbled upon from Alexei. But the maids were perpetually on the move, making it nearly impossible to find a moment to speak with Anya. Seeing that it would be impossible for me to be not noticed at my location, I decided to go to the wash area where Anya went a few minutes ago to wash some tablecloths. I tried to act as naturally as possible, drawing away suspicions by bringing some dirty washcloths as props. As I stood there, my eyes keenly scanned the busy place with my peripheral vis

Carrie My heart pounded in my chest as Anya's revelation sank in. Shock coursed through me, and I struggled to find the right words to respond to what she had just told me. "Are you certain about that?" I asked, my voice quivering with a mix of disbelief and concern. Anya nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "He is one of Alexei’s men. His name is Kriev. I recognized the smell before but refused to accept the truth. I thought my wolf was just mistaken. I tried to ignore the mate pull as much as I could and distracted myself with my duties. But I couldn’t escape it, I couldn’t accept the truth. It was him who finally confronted me to clarify our bond." I tightened my grip around Anya, feeling a rush of sympathy for my friend. The situation was incredibly sensitive, and I needed to be careful with my words to avoid upsetting her further. Anya continued to pour out her heart, her tears staining my shoulder. "I can’t be with a mate who destroyed our pack. Being with him means betraya

Carrie I stood in front of the mirror, the morning light gently embracing my reflection through the window. My Omega uniform hung neatly on a chair nearby, and my hand rested tenderly on my abdomen. My fingers traced the soft curve of my growing baby bump. A swell of emotions rushed over me, and I couldn't hold back the tears that welled up in my eyes. "You're getting bigger, little one," I whispered, my voice quivering with a mixture of wonder and fear. I couldn't believe that I was capable of loving someone this much without even meeting him. It felt surreal. I couldn't believe I was going to be a mother soon. The weight of this new responsibility and the sheer joy of impending motherhood overwhelmed me. I had always been living for myself and the things I wanted, but now there was a different purpose within me, one that extended beyond everything I'd been through. I wiped away my tears, determined to face the day ahead. I reached for the slightly oversized Omega uniform I had pr

Carrie I quickly walked down the hallway, my mind still preoccupied with the recent event. The knowledge of the baby was a closely guarded secret within our group, and now that Alexei had found out, anxiety gripped me. I knew that this secret would eventually come to light, but I had done my best to keep it hidden for as long as possible. What if he revealed my truth? What if he exploited this weakness against me? Against all of us? I would never forgive myself for causing more pain and suffering to my pack because of this secret. What should I do? But there was a persistent thought in my mind that believed Alexei wasn't entirely evil. After all, he hadn't physically harmed me, and he had even allowed me to escape earlier when he caught me touching his precious medicine. If he genuinely intended to harm me, he should have done so while I was in his room, right? He should have killed me the moment he saw my interest in it. He wasn't foolish; he understood what I was planning, yet h

Carrie The morning sun painted the sky with gentle hues of pink and gold as I continued with my daily chores in the Blackmoon Pack House. It was a routine I had grown accustomed to since our pack was attacked, but today was strangely different. There was an unusual energy in the air, and it wasn't long before I noticed something out of the ordinary. I paused in my task, my broom hovering mid-sweep. "Anya, did you hear that?" Anya, who had been washing dishes, furrowed her brow and glanced toward the window. "Hear what?" I listened intently for a moment, then shrugged. "Maybe it's just my imagination." But the distant murmur of voices persisted, growing louder with each passing second. Anya and I exchanged puzzled glances before abandoning our duties and making our way to check where the murmurs were coming from. Our eyes widened in surprise as we witnessed a sight that was anything but ordinary. The rogues, known for their late-night drinking, had gathered in the pack grounds, an

Jesse I was preparing everything for Liam. The time had come for him to return to Blackmoon after spending some time with me in Silverfang. As I gathered his things, a touch of melancholy washed over me. Our time together had been an incredible experience, and now it was coming to an end. "Make sure you don't forget anything," I reminded him. Liam nodded, a bright smile on his face. It had been two years since our battle with Corey, and we had all returned to our peaceful lives. My life had transformed into a colorful and joyous one since Liam had entered it. Carrie had finally agreed to let me be part of their lives as a co-parent with Liam. I had been making up for lost time and bonding with my son, and even the Silverfang pack celebrated his arrival the first time he set foot here. Jerick, although he hadn't forgiven me completely, was now civil and warmer with me. He had expressed his approval of me being in Liam's life despite everything that had happened between our packs, an

The emotions surged through me like a tidal wave.Liam looked up at me with a hint of concern in his innocent eyes, his small voice breaking the silence. "What's wrong, mommy?"I couldn't contain my tears, but they were tears of happiness, and a warm smile graced my face. "Mommy is just happy to see you again, sweetheart. I love you with all my heart. You know that, right?"Liam's face lit up with a bright, contagious smile, and he wrapped his little arms around me, declari

I knew the risks of facing Corey and his rogue army, but I had no choice. My heart pounded with a mix of fear and determination as I ventured deeper into the desolate valley. The moon hung low in the night sky, casting an eerie glow over the rocky terrain. I had to navigate carefully to avoid any unwanted confrontations. The wind rustled through the dry grass, and a chill ran down my spine, making me feel more vulnerable than ever. Finally, I spotted Corey standing near a gnarled tree, holding Liam tightly. Our eyes locked, and a tense silence hung in the air. “Mr. Morris!” Liam shouted, making Corey twitch slightly on his side, silencing him with a tightened grip. I clenched my fist seeing this. “Don’t you dare hurt him!” I shouted back. “I did your bidding. Now, release the boy at once and face me!” Corey shouted with a smirk, "You're a fool, Jesse. Coming

JesseThe day had come for me to face Corey. I stood before the mirror, adjusting my shirt, trying to steady my nerves. I'd been in many battles before, but this one was unlike any other. This time, I had to confront my enemy with an unknown disadvantage, and I needed to find a way to succeed, or else I would lose my son before he even knew I existed. We had decided to stay in the Astoria pack until the day of the confrontation. I was in the room that Alpha Christian had provided as my temporary chambers, mentally preparing for the impending war. Running away was not an option this time.As I tried to gather my thoughts and find the courage I needed, I heard a gentle knock on the door. I knew my mother had come to check on me by her gentle voice. She had been trying to engage me in conversation, sensing the weight of the situation, but my mind was preoccupied, and I had ignored her repeated attempts. She entered the room with some supplies for my journey, her concern and love evident

CarrieThe tension in the room was palpable, like an invisible storm cloud hanging heavily in the air. As the troops wisely decided to make their exit, their footsteps echoed in the silence, and the atmosphere grew even more charged. Alpha Christian and Jerick left as well, their absence leaving us alone to confront the emotional turmoil that had long been simmering beneath the surface.Nancy hesitated, her eyes brimming with tears. An unspoken concern was etched across her face, a deep worry for what might transpire in the room. However, her reluctance to leave was overridden by my firm determination. I could feel her trepidation, her desire to stay and protect, but this was the moment for Jesse and me alone."I think this is the time for Jesse and me to face our past," I finally broke the silence, my voice quivering with a mixture of resolve and anxiety."But, Carrie—"I locked eyes with her, silently pleading for her to trust my judgment. I knew that what needed to be said, what ne

JesseI asked the question, desperate for an answer that Carrie wasn't giving. Frustration boiled inside me, and I raised my voice, demanding the truth from her."Answer me, Carrie! And don't you dare lie to me! IS LIAM MY SON?!"But all I got from Carrie were sobs and heavy breaths, and I needed answers urgently. As I leaned closer to her, a strange sensation began to infiltrate my mind. It felt as if an invisible hand was delving into the recesses of my thoughts, attempting to convey a message. This eerie and disconcerting sensation hinted at a presence trying to communicate with me, yet its source remained unclear. It dawned on me that it was a connection attempting to breach the boundaries of my consciousness, and the realization hit me like a thunderbolt. It was a mindlink, a rare skill possessed only by high-ranking wolves."A mindlink," I muttered, and the others in the woods exchanged glances. Gene pointed out that it might be Corey.Without wasting a moment, I shouted urgentl

My mind conjured the most terrifying scenarios, and I couldn't shake the paralyzing fear of losing him at any moment. I clutched my chest, desperately trying to calm my racing heart and regain some semblance of control. I attempted to convince myself that my son was okay and that nothing bad would happen to him. But who was I kidding? Liam and his friend had been kidnapped by an unknown wolf, and the likelihood of him being hurt in the process was a one-in-a-million possibility.“Liam! Liam! Where are you, sweety? It’s Mommy! Liam!”Desperation consumed me as I called out Liam's name in the woods. The thought of Liam being alone and vulnerable in an unfamiliar place tore at my soul. His face revealed his feelings. Like the rest of us, he too demanded answers regarding the disappearance of Liam and Jaxon.Alpha Christian heaved a sigh, composed himself, and began to calmly explain what had happened."The report is based on our only witness, Carl, one of the freshmen here at Lycan Academy and a friend of Liam and Jaxon. He was the last person Liam and Jaxon were seen with before they went missing.""Another kid was involved?" Gene remarked, his voice tinged with surprise. Alpha Christian continued his story. As Alpha Christian spoke, his tone grew more somber, and he gazed out the window. His eyes reflected the weight of the situation.
