Jesse

I walked briskly towards the pack, accompanied by my loyal head warrior, Jimmy, and the rest of the Silverfang pack. Thoughts of Silverfang and, more importantly, Carrie consumed my mind. I couldn't help but smile bitterly as I remembered the glowing remarks she made about her despicable ex-boyfriend. Vigo, my wolf, assured me that Carrie didn't bring it up to hurt me intentionally. He insisted that she didn't mean any of it, and just wanted to get even after I pushed her from the boulder but the ache in my heart told a different story.

Accepting the fact that Carrie was in love with another man was a bitter pill to swallow. Yet, I had made a promise to myself that I wouldn't give up on my love for her. I firmly believed that fate and the moon goddess were on my side by making her my fated mate. So, I resolved to show Carrie that I deserved her love. But the battle raging within me was something I couldn’t ignore.

But I couldn’t deny that I was having a hard time. With that, I

Wow. I thought he was much older than her. Such an immature thing to do. I hope she keeps driving. They both need to grow up.

Her kind eyes met mine as I approached, and a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Laine joined us too, looking at me awkwardly. Meanwhile, Jesse shifted to his human form. One of the omegas approached him and let him get dressed. "I am glad you’re back, Carrie," Nancy said, her voice filled with genuine concern."It's been... intense," I finally managed to say, my voice barely above a whisper. CarrieThat morning, I woke up to find an omega silently tidying up my room, careful not to disturb my sleep. On my table, a delicious aroma wafted from a plate of freshly cooked breakfast—a mouthwatering combination of whole-wheat pancakes topped with juicy berries, my absolute favorite! My heart filled with gratitude for Jesse's considerate gesture. Somehow, he had taken the time to learn what I truly liked, and I deeply appreciated it. The omega noticed my smile, curtsied, and greeted me with a cheerful "Good morning.""The alpha prepared that breakfast himself, madam," she said, her voice tinged with amusement. I couldn't help but feel surprised. "He did?""Yes," the omega replied, giggling. "It was his first time in the kitchen. He asked our head cook to teach him how to make delicious pancakes. He wanted to surprise you with something special today."A warm blush crept up my cheeks at the thought. To be honest, those pancakes didn't look like the creation of an amateur cook. The

CarrieThe following day, as the sun peeked through my window, I opened my eyes to find my room tidied. Surprisingly, everything was already neat and organized. Jesse had arranged for an omega to clean up while I was still dozing. Waking up in a clean room was something I had grown accustomed to because of that.A soft smile spread across my face as my gaze landed on the fresh, fragrant, white lilies adorning the table. Those delicate blossoms resembled whispers of beauty, and they never failed to bring me joy. Jesse knew they were my favorite flowers, so he always requested an omega to ensure I woke up to their refreshing presence every morning. This simple act of kindness warmed my heart. He never failed to show me how special I was to him since that day he committed to showing me how much I meant to him. With renewed energy, I hopped out of bed and got ready for the day ahead. As I walked towards the dining hall, the corridors felt empty and quiet, as if the world was still waking

Carrie My heart raced in my chest, matching the frantic pace of my thoughts. How had Jesse appeared so suddenly? I thought I was being sneaky, but he caught me off guard. Jesse was an alpha, with instincts sharper than mine. I couldn't help but be amazed by his ability to sense my presence, even when I thought I was being sly. Caught in the moment, I struggled to find the right words. I stumbled over my excuses, my voice shaking as I tried to regain my composure. "I... I was going to the stream. Yeah. I got lost on the way," I said, barely audible. Jesse squinted his eyes, looking doubtful, and said, "But the stream is on the other side." A wave of defeat washed over me, crushing my pride. I closed my eyes, unable to meet Jesse's gaze, and finally confessed, "Okay, okay. I was following you. I'm sorry." Embarrassment flooded my cheeks, burning hot with shame. I anxiously waited for Jesse's response, fearing the punishment that awaited me. His next question hung in the air, hea

CarrieI was completely taken aback when I saw that cabin right in the middle of the forbidden section of the territory. It surprised me big time. "What's this?" I blurted out, unable to hold back my curiosity.Jesse grinned. "This is my shop. It's where I spend most of my free time."Eager to satisfy my growing interest, I took a good look at the place. It was a cozy log cabin with cool wooden designs on the outside. I stepped into Jesse's shop and immediately caught a whiff of fresh wood. It smelled really nice, like the outdoors. The place was a haven for people who liked carving wood. The floor was made of old, worn-out wood and covered in sawdust, showing that a lot of hard work had been done there. The walls had shelves filled with tools neatly organized. Each tool looked used and had its own story, with marks and signs of many projects. In one corner, there was a workbench covered in marks from chisels. It had unfinished wooden pieces as well waiting to be completed. Around t

CarrieI spent my days adjusting to life at Silverfang, slowly growing fond of the pack. Unlike in Blackmoon, where I always felt like an outsider, the people here embraced me with warmth. It was as if I had finally found my rightful place among them. That evening, I sat down for dinner with Jesse and his mother, Nancy. Little did I know, a conversation was about to unfold that would deepen my connection to both Jesse and the Silverfang pack."Son, have you discussed the plans for the Luna Festival with the council?" Nancy inquired, her eyes fixed on Jesse."Yes, Mom," Jesse replied confidently. "Everything has been arranged for the celebration."Nancy's face softened with satisfaction. Turning to me, she said, "Carrie, let me tell you about the Luna Festival. You see, it commemorates the day our pack was founded by our ancestors. It's a celebration of our heritage, a time when we gather with our allies and vassal packs together to strengthen our connection and bonds.”Curiosity and e

CarrieThe elegant party buzzed with excitement and glamour. Soft music played in the background, mingling with the sound of laughter and clinking glasses. I couldn't help but feel a mixture of nervousness and anticipation as I glanced around the room. Unfamiliar faces caught my eye and all of them are throwing glances at me. I moved my head down, but Jesse was quick to stop me. “Chin up. You are the alpha’s mate. You should hold your head up high. Besides, you look gorgeous so there’s nothing to be shy about.”His words brought comfort to my nerves. Just as we settled on the center table, a voice rang making us turn our heads. “Jesse!” Amidst the crowd, a voice called out Jesse's name, and my heart skipped a beat. I turned to see him smiling, his eyes shining with delight. He threw the lady a tight hug and I couldn't help but feel jealous until Jesse introduced me to the mysterious lady that arrived."Lilybeth, meet Carrie, my mate," Jesse said, his voice filled with pride. “Carr

Jesse I was preparing everything for Liam. The time had come for him to return to Blackmoon after spending some time with me in Silverfang. As I gathered his things, a touch of melancholy washed over me. Our time together had been an incredible experience, and now it was coming to an end. "Make sure you don't forget anything," I reminded him. Liam nodded, a bright smile on his face. It had been two years since our battle with Corey, and we had all returned to our peaceful lives. My life had transformed into a colorful and joyous one since Liam had entered it. Carrie had finally agreed to let me be part of their lives as a co-parent with Liam. I had been making up for lost time and bonding with my son, and even the Silverfang pack celebrated his arrival the first time he set foot here. Jerick, although he hadn't forgiven me completely, was now civil and warmer with me. He had expressed his approval of me being in Liam's life despite everything that had happened between our packs, an

Jesse I followed Ex-Beta Corey's instructions and arrived at Skull Valley alone, determined to do everything to save Liam. I knew the risks of facing Corey and his rogue army, but I had no choice. My heart pounded with a mix of fear and determination as I ventured deeper into the desolate valley. The moon hung low in the night sky, casting an eerie glow over the rocky terrain. I had to navigate carefully to avoid any unwanted confrontations. The wind rustled through the dry grass, and a chill ran down my spine, making me feel more vulnerable than ever. Finally, I spotted Corey standing near a gnarled tree, holding Liam tightly. Our eyes locked, and a tense silence hung in the air. “Mr. Morris!” Liam shouted, making Corey twitch slightly on his side, silencing him with a tightened grip. I clenched my fist seeing this. “Don’t you dare hurt him!” I shouted back. “I did your bidding. Now, release the boy at once and face me!” Corey shouted with a smirk, "You're a fool, Jesse. Coming

JesseThe day had come for me to face Corey. I stood before the mirror, adjusting my shirt, trying to steady my nerves. I'd been in many battles before, but this one was unlike any other. This time, I had to confront my enemy with an unknown disadvantage, and I needed to find a way to succeed, or else I would lose my son before he even knew I existed. We had decided to stay in the Astoria pack until the day of the confrontation. I was in the room that Alpha Christian had provided as my temporary chambers, mentally preparing for the impending war. Running away was not an option this time.As I tried to gather my thoughts and find the courage I needed, I heard a gentle knock on the door. I knew my mother had come to check on me by her gentle voice. She had been trying to engage me in conversation, sensing the weight of the situation, but my mind was preoccupied, and I had ignored her repeated attempts. She entered the room with some supplies for my journey, her concern and love evident

CarrieThe tension in the room was palpable, like an invisible storm cloud hanging heavily in the air. As the troops wisely decided to make their exit, their footsteps echoed in the silence, and the atmosphere grew even more charged. Alpha Christian and Jerick left as well, their absence leaving us alone to confront the emotional turmoil that had long been simmering beneath the surface.Nancy hesitated, her eyes brimming with tears. An unspoken concern was etched across her face, a deep worry for what might transpire in the room. However, her reluctance to leave was overridden by my firm determination. I could feel her trepidation, her desire to stay and protect, but this was the moment for Jesse and me alone."I think this is the time for Jesse and me to face our past," I finally broke the silence, my voice quivering with a mixture of resolve and anxiety."But, Carrie—"I locked eyes with her, silently pleading for her to trust my judgment. I knew that what needed to be said, what ne

JesseI asked the question, desperate for an answer that Carrie wasn't giving. Frustration boiled inside me, and I raised my voice, demanding the truth from her."Answer me, Carrie! And don't you dare lie to me! IS LIAM MY SON?!"But all I got from Carrie were sobs and heavy breaths, and I needed answers urgently. As I leaned closer to her, a strange sensation began to infiltrate my mind. It felt as if an invisible hand was delving into the recesses of my thoughts, attempting to convey a message. This eerie and disconcerting sensation hinted at a presence trying to communicate with me, yet its source remained unclear. It dawned on me that it was a connection attempting to breach the boundaries of my consciousness, and the realization hit me like a thunderbolt. It was a mindlink, a rare skill possessed only by high-ranking wolves."A mindlink," I muttered, and the others in the woods exchanged glances. Gene pointed out that it might be Corey.Without wasting a moment, I shouted urgentl
