"BROTHER" someone spat harshly As they both turned to see Jake standing there and for the first time Ophelia heart seen that anger etched on his face.

"Jake" the man spat back with the same amount of venom.

"Ophelia! Come here" Jay commanded which resulted in Ophelia quietly walking by to stand just behind him, If looks could kill these two would have probably killed each other and it was making her highly uncomfortable.

Ophelia had known Jake and Marissa for quite a while now but they had never mentioned having a brother. And from what she could see she realized why they haven't they didn't look on very good terms and she was hoping if Marissa could come around quickly so that the awkward tension in the room could be dissolved.

"Hello! I am Cassidy!" Cassidy stepped forward putting her hand on his shoulder and hugging the man.

Ophelia hated being violent but sometimes she just wanted to smack the school in the face just a couple of moments ago she was going crazy over her boyfriend was just now standing here watching her hug his brother whom he definitely didn't share very positive bonds with. Ophelia wasn't sure why but she didn't like Cassidy putting her hands on him So the amount of relief she felt when the man stepped out of her embrace and completely ignored her high-pitched voice and her affection it made her internally happy.

"Xavier" Came another shocked gasp as Ophelia turned towards Marissa who looked a lot more sober now. But from the expression on Marissa's face didn't feel like she could be the icebreaker between the two brothers instead her face also has Etched into annoyance.

" Fancy seeing you here brother and sister" Xavier spat.

" What the fuck are you doing here Xavier" Jake shouted harshly this time making Ophelia gasp in horror, she has never seen Jake like this.

" Watch your tone when you're talking to my brother especially when you're standing on my land" Xavier shouted back but his voice was still come as the dead silent ocean.

" In that case we won't be staying here any fucking second longer" it was Marissa who started this time before both of them tone as Marissa took her hand and dragged Ophelia towards the exit.

"I will see you around bambina" he smirked at Ophelia and that's what finally ticked off Jake.

"No you fucking won't" Jake growled as they were walking away.

"Stop me if you can baby brother" Xavier growled back before walking away.

This was probably the first time and the last time ophelia was going to say this but she was missing Cassidy.

After the awkward encounter with their brother Marissa and Jake had been mostly quiet. Jake had a furious look on his face with his hand on the steering wheel clenching it's so hard Ophelia was afraid it's gonna break, Marissa on the other hand didn't look so pissed but she definitely looked annoyed.

Once they all settled in side the Jake's car Jake quickly dropped off Cassidy who couldn't stop talking the entire time even when Jake give her the most furious look ever in the rearview mirror. Add this one to realize trunk as fuck and Amy thing he did was not going to stop or so he stopped wasting his energy.

Marissa had very rudely asked Cassidy to shut the fuck up but she was too drunk to care and now that she was dropped off at her place there was a Clawing silence in the car, She could see that Jake was at the verge of cracking.

" What the fuck what are you doing with him Ophelia? What the fuck were you thinking?" Jake suddenly halted the vehicle hitting the steering wheel hardly.

Ophelia was shocked Jake had been anything but kind to her all this while and seeing him like that scared her, it's almost like Jake finally noticed the terrified expression on her face when he calmed down a little.

" Actually this creepy guy offered me a drink and then I refused him twice started dragging me to some other corner of the bar when...." Ophelia stuttered, She knew how to continue she definitely couldn't call him jakes brother because that would piss him off but calling him by his name didn't sound like a very good idea either.

" That's when he came and shoved the creepy guy away and was talking something in some foreign language and that's when you came" Ophelia explained.

" What the fuck were you thinking Marissa when you decided to leave her all alone?" Jake shouted.

" I was just using the restroom, I need to pee" Marissa objected.

" we're you?" Jake snapped and a guilty look passed marissa's face. Before Ophelia Could put a finger upon why Marissa was guilty she covered up.

" Can you start driving? you're scaring her" Marissa hissed.

That was all it took for Jake to start driving again and the rest of the ride was quiet. Ophelia wasn't sure what she was supposed to say it wasn't like she interacted with her brother on purpose

hell she didn't even knew he was their brother or they had a brother before the little spat the three of them had and the silence was really making it super uncomfortable for her.

The silence continued until she finally reached her place. The look of distaste very mildly passed their face. Jake and Marissa had offered for How to shift with them since the place she say that wasn't at the very secure location to which she had politely declined.

When no one even Jake or Marissa made a move to say anything or laugh it out like they always did about what ever happened Ophelia took it as a cue to leave.

It was only when she got out of the car and was about to walk in when Jake's window rolled down.

" He might have pretended to be the prince charming today and saved you but he's worse than the devil Ophelia and I don't want you anywhere close to him" Jake passed her a light smile with a stern expression, Marissa on the other hand just smiled sympathetically as the duo drove off.

That night while going to bed Ophelia thought that this chapter was over and that was it but this was going to be her biggest mistake in the near future and this was going to change everything for everyone.
