I slapped Ken hard when he tried to kiss me.

"I'll never be your bride!" I shouted angrily, and I was about to slap him again, but he caught my hand.

"You're my bride, Caroline! Three days left, and we'll get married!" Ken said, tightening his grip on my hand.

"Let me go!" I complained, trying to pull my hand away from him. "I don't love you! We can't get married! Marriage is for two people who love each other, Ken! You're not the one I love!"
