Marry me

The club was one of the most famous clubs in the city. 

Grace had just gotten out of the taxi when a young man walked up to her to greet her. 

“Are you Miss Valdes?” He asked. 

  She paused for a moment, staring at the man in a suit with suspicion.  

 Seeing the vigilance in her eyes, the man smiled in understanding. 

He then spoke in a low voice “Mr. Divine is here and is currently waiting for you on the 15th floor.  

 Grace nodded, then followed the man into the clubhouse, taking the elevator to the 15th floor. She could see a pool behind the glass doors as soon as she stepped out of the elevator.  

 Two people were guarding the door, when they saw her they looked at the young man whom she had come in contact with before nodding and letting her in.  

 The moment she walked in, her eyes landed on the figure swimming inside the swimming pool like an experienced swimmer.   

He was wearing a short black swimming knicker without a shirt and she could see his body very clearly.   

His figure was charming and beautiful as he swam in the water leaving her stunned.

   And then he stepped out of the water, his biceps and triceps leaving her in oblivion.   His wet hair fell on his forehead. He looked hot.  

 Imagining that he was the one to whom she had given her virginity made her blush intensely and look another way.   

Allowing her dark hair to cover her face.   Alpha Nelson chuckled. “You are cute when you blush”

   Her heart rate spiked up the most.   

She was embarrassed that she had just blushed over a man's body.   

“Come and sit down. 

We need to talk” His tone became serious.   She didn't wait and sat down in front of him. He was snow-wearing a bathrobe and sitting lazily on the chair.  

 “Mr. Divine, I really can't explain what happened this morning.   

I was drugged and I didn't even know that someone would plan something like this. I…”   “Calm down. I am not going to bite you”

   Still, Grace's senses were at their peak, anything out of the ordinary she didn't care if they saw her true form.   

She would run away. Safety first. That was the number one rule her mother had always told her.

   “Are you really that scared of me?” he asked. 

  “Of course I am. You are Alpha Nelson Divine, the president of the Divine group, the only son of the richest family in the entire world.   

A legend. A prodigy. Of course, I am afraid of you   

Alpha Nelson laughed.

 “Those are mere flattery. At the end of the day I am just human” With that he snapped his fingers for someone to come in.

   The man who had come in with her placed a document on the table, bowed a bit then left. Her eyes looked at the file on the table. 

  At once, she thought Alpha Nelson was going to buy her silence.  

 She doesn't care. She would sign it as long as it would give her peace of mind. 

  I know this may sound crazy, unwanted, and new. But, I want us to get married for real.

 A contract marriage for three years, after that you can be on your way and I on my own

   This made Grace choke on her saliva.   

“Why?” She managed to speak out.  

 “I do not have to tell you my reason, Miss Valdes but I believe this would be beneficial for you.  

 Seeing your family situation, your brother has been home for the past few months without going to school and your mother is battling with addiction.   

Let's not even talk about the fact that she had also developed lung cancer and that's where you are pushing all your money to at the moment. 

  Still, she hits you, beats you up, and calls you a disappointment. Did I get anything wrong?”   Grace looked down at the document. Of course, he had done an investigation over her.  

 Of course, he knew her predicament, and saying all those things to her made her heart hurt more.

   Tears filled her gaze and she squeezed her hand into a fist. “That doesn't mean I would get married to you 

  Alpha Nelson just stared at her, then stretched his hand giving her a handkerchief.   “Don't make a rash decision just like that. Think about it”

"She took the handkerchief and wiped her tears. She nodded before leaving the pool."   

"She had only just stepped out when her eyes saw her ex-boyfriend, Victor, his arms wrapped around a beautiful lady, who she recognized." Cindy.   

"Her body was sexy, alluring, and beautiful."   

"Her skin looked rich and soft."  Oh, how she would love to take revenge on them but she was powerless.   

She looked down at her skin which was rough and dry. " 

 Why suffer when you can benefit?"The moment Grace got to the door of her boss's office she breathed out a breath she never knew she was holding."

Three years, how long can that be?   

"With that thought, she turned around and went back into the pool house to see Alpha Nelson."  

 “Mr. Divine, let's get married."  she said the moment she stepped inside the house. 

"There was a smile on Nelson's face for a while before he changed it to a normal look on his face. "

"What changed your mind Mrs. Valdez?"  He asked 

"Well, I thought about your offer and came to the conclusion that you are right." I need to take care of my family and there are some scores I need to settle. Grace said. 

Alright. "but don't forget it is a contract marriage of three years and within this space of three years you are not allowed to fall in love with me." Nelson said to her. 

That won't happen Mr. Divine so you don't have to bother about that." Grace said. 

Where is the contract Mr. Divine? Grace asked. 

Where you left it. " Nelson said as he walked back to the table the marriage contract was on with Grace following behind him." 

"She took out a pen from her bag and put her signature on the marriage certificate."
