"Who are you?"

"Who sent you?"
"No one."
"Why did they sent you?"
This has been going on for hours.

4 hours ago, we went into the tunnel. After walking a mile or so, we found a dead end—for anyone who is not in the organization. For us, it's not a dead end.
Britt was quick to take out her ID card and put it in front of the wall. 5 seconds later, the ground from the dead end and 20 feet backward slowly began to go down.
It's an elevator. Soon, we're enveloped by darkness.
After 5 minutes of waiting, a bright light shone through the cracks between the ground and the walls.
And we're here.
Welcome to The Keeper of The Keys, our organization's main base.
The biggest base we have. About half a mile below the surface. And yet, with technologies, we can breathe fine. The base is triple times the size of a stadion, each room is divided by bulletproof glass. The floor is made of ceramic and light shone from the ceiling--the ceiling is literally made of lights.
This is where La Reu controls everything, or so they say.
Some say he is always here, somewhere behind these walls, never sees the world with his own eyes, always behind a screen.
Others say that he is never here, he is out there, having his own life, a normal life, and controls the organization from far away.
And some others say he is one of us, disguising as one of us, acting like he is a part of this organization as an agent.
No one knows.
*glitch*
Enough of the rumors going around.
Where were we?
Oh, yeah, the base.
After we arrived, the AD agents bought 'Hade' to the interrogation room. While Scout and I went to report our arrival to Mr. Crawford.
We spent a full hour filling in some paperwork. You'd think being an agent is paperwork-free.
***
We still got an hour before the mission's briefing. So Scout decided he would go to the training room, while I went to the interrogation room.
Our interrogation method isn't torture, it is an alternative method. We usually just put a few questions in repeat, over and over again. We make it loud and disturbing. The light is so bright that you can't sleep with it on. Therefore, the person who's interrogated can't escape it.
Usually, in a few hours, they slipped something.
And after, we let him go back to whatever organization sent them, with a GPS planted in their stomach--we put it in their food. None of them last more than a minute before they are killed by their own organization.
So no one's time is taken for interrogating one person.

"No one."
"Why did they sent you?"
This has been going on for hours. Before...
"Who are you?"
"..."
"Who sent you?"
"It's The fucking Unfazed, okay? They sent me in to kill La Reu's son and daughter. They say they are hiding among the agents. I have to find them and kill them, make it look like an accident, and get out of the organization safely to get my family back," he confessed.
"Now turn off that annoying recording!" he yelled.
"Why did they send you?" the machine kept repeating the questions despite Hade's complaints.
"La Reu has children?" I blurted out.
And everyone suddenly looks at me. They have no idea too.
"I mean, it is possible. Maybe they are one of us," said Johan, glancing around the room. There are not many people in the room, only the 5 AD agents, 2 agents from the ID, and me.
The room was silent for a few seconds. Before we all burst out laughing.
"That's a good one," said Britt, still laughing.
2 seconds later, "but it could be," Kelly chirped. We all turn to Kelly and then glancing at each other in suspicion. It could be anyone.
Knock knock.
We all jump in surprise and put up a fighting stance.
"Umm, the briefing in 5," said Scout confused, still standing in the doorway shirtless with a towel hanging on his neck.
***
"Thank you everyone for attending this briefing. Now everyone who is standing in this room is your teammate for this mission. Please step forward to introduce yourselves."
We were all gathered in the briefing room. There are 3 other people besides me, Scout, and Kelly. And Mr. Stryker as the head of the briefing this time.
One of them I recognized as one of the agents escorting me and scout, Minnie Lopez. "Hi, I'm Minnie Lopez, a year as an ATD agent and 2 years serving as an AD agent." A short girl voluminous body, tan skin, black hair, green eyes, and always seems to be left out by her friends.
The other girl with yellowish blonde, bright blue eyes, pale skin, and hasn't stopped smiling ever since she stepped into this room a few minutes ago. "Hello all, I'm Sunny, I'm a senior agent at ATD, was recruited a year ago. This is my first mission and I am really excited about it. I wish I can learn more from this mission. I hope all of you can accept me as a part of your team, I'm really looking-,"
"Thank you, Sunny. Next please," said Mr. Stryker, seeming annoyed.
"H-hi, I am, no, My name is Bobby, I am from the uhm, ID." A boy who looked 15, brown hair, brown eyes, about 5'0, wearing spectacles and a white lab coat.
"Kelly Crawford, 2 years ATD, a year AD." Kelly has always been straightforward and to the point.
"Hi, I'm Katarina Clyde, I was an ATD agent for a year and a half, and have been serving as an SD agent for a year."
"Hello, I am Scout Kipper. Spent a year as an ATD agent, before I was assigned as an SD agent a year ago."
"Excellent. Now, 72 hours ago, we lost contact with one of the WD's bases. The mission is simple, you have to find out what happened with them, and fix it. Any question?" explained Mr. Stryker.
"Yes, Why are there only 6 agents? The usual team includes 12-20 agents," asked Scout.
"I've said it before, this is a simple mission, maybe they just have some connection problem."
"Then why not just send an ID agent? They know how to fix it," argued Scout.
Mr. Stryker turns to him, "order is an order, now stop asking, and start preparing. Your flight is tomorrow morning. Do. You. Understand?"
I quickly snatch Scout's arm, "he understands, sir."
Both of them turn to me, Mr. Stryker with his usual poker face, and Scout with an annoyed face.
"Good," said Mr. Stryker.
"As the leader of this mission, I expect a lot from you, Agent Kipper, don't let me down."
We nodded at him and walked away. I lean into Scout's ear and whispered, "Now who's making trouble??" He just rolls his eye, mumbling something. I only heard the word 'idiot'.

After the briefing, we went straight back to the hotel.
I decided to train until late night, accompanied by Kelly. She left an hour before midnight, saying that she's sleepy.
I spent an hour training alone, thinking about how will this mission goes. I mean, in a mission, you don't know if it's going to succeed or not, you don't know if you're going to be killed or not, you don't know what obstacles will we have to face.
I ended up ruining 2 good punch bags. I sighed, I think it's enough for the night.
I pick up my towel and water bottle and turned off the light. Just as I was about to leave the training room, my phone buzzed in my pocket.
Unknown Number: Be careful of the mission.
Unknown Number: Be careful of the mission. My heart starts beating faster. I quickly make sure I had locked the door and windows, closing the curtain, taking out a gun and a blade from the weapon rack.I stand behind a knife stool, gun pointing at the door, I'm on high alert. My phone buzz twice. Without removing my gaze from the door, I took it out of my pocket and read the message.Unknown Number: Tell no one. Trust no one.Unknown Number: Reflect upon the answer that stood by you. Look back. Look forward. But don't remember. For the love of food, can he stop speaking in riddles!
Because Scout said I'm too weak to go on with the mission, we stayed at the hotel for the rest of the day. I actually feel okay, but I played along. I spent the whole day in bed. Partly because Scout forced me to and because I also wanted to remember every last detail of my dream. Hoping I would figure why do I keep getting that dream. I know that's a dream because I know it's not my memory and I don't believe in visions like in the movies. But nothing came to mind. In the end, I gave up and went to sleep instead. The next day, after Scout made sure I'm okay, we went on with the plan. It's simple really, the plan. We just have to visit the WD's base not so far from here, find out what's wrong, and fix it.
We continued walking through the tunnel. Inspecting the floor in case the masked guy dropped anything that could be evidence or hints. I kept my guard up the whole time. But nada.No footsteps, no scent, not even a drop of sweat. And that sweat is the most valuable of all.Whoever this masked guy is, he's good. Not all of our agents even know their sweat or their cologne lingering in the air could be a major hint.At the end of the tunnel, he's still nowhere to be found. The only way out is the lift that led to the base.He knew. And worse, he has the ID it requires to activate the lift. There are two possibilities here, one is that
"When I used the passage, there was no smoke, no blood, no mess. Everything was normal."We're back at the hotel, and Minnie is telling us what happened back then. Everyone gets out safe. Only Minnie with a huge scar on her leg plus bruises here and there."When I went into the tunnel, there was no one. As I reached the base, bodies were everywhere. But the lights were still on. I tried using my earpiece, but it's only statics. So I carry on with the procedure, finding survivors." She shook her head, "No one survived. The attack took time quite a while ago. Anyone wasn't shot in the fatal organs, died of blood loss or hunger," she sigh.Who would do that? What kind of monster killed hundreds of people down there? And how? I sigh."Whe
"Hello, sister."The sounds clearly using a voice changer. And it doesn't come from one source. The voice echoed all around me.I scan my surrounding. There's no one here."Who are you?" I asked. He sighs, "I hate him as much as you do, sister. I really do. And I'm just here to get you out of this. Remember that.""Wha-," I breathe out.I pick up one of my glow sticks and I run along the tunnel going to the basement. Scanning my surrounding if there is anything suspicious or out of place. Then I found it.A speaker.
The airport was stacked with people coming and going. Some are saying welcome, and the others saying goodbye. Few got this huge smile on their face, and others got a sad goodbye smile on their face.I observed it. I've always been an excellent observer. Almost every moment caught by my eyes, I remembered. Some of them are pleasant, some were not.But everyone has a flaw. Mine is my father. I remembered him.Every. Single. Thing. About him.His face, his voice, his habit, even his favorite clothes. What I can't remember is his name. I couldn't for the life of me remember it. I don't know why, or how. It just seems impossible to me.I watch my steps as I climbed up the stairs. 5 sets of stairs passed, and my breathing doesn't even fasten.I checked my boarding pass, gate 2, and I'm at gate 9. I have no choice but to walk to gate 2.Halfway there my phone buzz, indicating a call from mom. Here we go.I put on a fake
I open my eyes.Blurry. Blink. Cold. Blink. Bright.I try to get up. Can't. My body feels numb."Shhh, it's okay honey, I'm here."Oh no, he's here. He's here.I can't breathe.***I jerked up. Looking around me, I realized I'm already on the airplane. It's just a nightmare."Hey sleeping beauty," someone says.I jumped slightly and turn my head to my right.
I look at myself in the mirror. I'm wearing a purple crop top, black leggings with a gold line on the outside of my legs, and the SD's leather jacket."Kat! I swear to god, you've been there for an hour!"I roll my eyes. Scout can be dramatic sometimes. Checking myself for the last time, I quickly grab my phone and exit my room—me and Kelly's room."Have some patience will ya? It takes time to look good. Besides, it's only been 15 minutes," I replied, walking out.As soon as I walked out, I saw his eyes widen."What's wrong?" I blurted out."That crop top is too revealing and that legging is too small for your size, and you're
