Chapter 415 Don't Want Another Misfortune

Despite her smile, Harper's gaze was devoid of any warmth.

"There's nothing between me and Hugh. So, you aren't interrupting anything," Leslie said calmly before preparing to leave.

But Harper only laughed at this. "You were practically hugging in the street, and you say nothing is going on?

"Hugh, didn't you say you were here on business? What kind of business requires you to hug your ex?"

"It's not what you think. I just saw a motorcycle almost hitting her, and I…" Hugh started to explain. He needed to clarify this misunderstanding.

But before he could finish, Harper interrupted him with a meaningful sneer. "You'll remember today forever."
