"I went to see Henry before but didn't get to meet him. Maybe you can inform him about this?" suggested Sheldon.

"Sure, I'll go to his place later." Lyla nodded lightly.

"Okay." Sheldon nodded but something seemed to be bothering him.

Lyla glanced at him quietly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Sheldon felt a bit uneasy at her glance.

"Something's bothering you," said Lyla firmly.

She was a psychologist, after all, so she of course knew how to read people.

"No, nothing's bothering me." Sheldon didn't want to talk about it now.

Lyla looked at him carefully and decided to let it go.

She said considerately, "It's okay if you don't want to talk about it now. Call me anytime when you need someone to talk to."

Sheldon looked into her eyes filled with sincerity. He was touched by her kindness.

He realized that, recently, Lyla seemed to be there for him whenever he was upset.

Her companionship sort of comforted him. It made him feel that he was no longer alone in this world.
