However, Henry completely ignored Natalie.

He continued earnestly speaking to Amy, "However, Natalie is pregnant. Is it okay if I take her for a check-up? I've already arranged for someone to take care of you."

Amy heard Henry loud and clear. But she was also curious about who Henry was and cast a questioning glance at Natalie.

Natalie sensed Amy's curiosity and was about to answer when Henry beat her to it.

"Here's the thing. I am the father of Natalie's child. So, it is my responsibility to care for both her and the child."

Amy nodded thoughtfully. So that was how it was.

"Well… go ahead and take Natalie for the check-up. I'll be fine." Amy was not unreasonable.

She keenly sensed that Natalie's feelings for Henry were not as simple as they made it out to be.

One could not hide how much they cared for a person no matter how hard they tried. Therefore, Amy didn't want to come between the two.

Natalie, however, was unwilling.

She huffed in annoyance. "I'll go for the check-up
