Alex POV

I rushed down from the bed and approached where she had fallen. She lay on the floor, rubbing her temples. I chuckled as I gazed down at her, and she promptly turned to look at me.

She stared at me from her supine position on the floor, so I crouched down beside her before playfully ruffling her hair.

"Are you okay?" I asked, smirking, and she scoffed.

"Look at me, do I seem okay to you? You pushed me, didn't you?" Her accusation caught me off guard, and I erupted into laughter.

Observing her embarrassment as she watched me laughing at her, I noted her earlier desire for revenge – now thwarted by a mere cushion. If I'd thrown it harder, would she have fainted?

"Stop laughing," she grumbled, and I raised my hands innocently. Her beauty was undeniable, even in this moment.

"I didn't push you, little mate, the cushion did," I clarified, gesturing towards the cushion.

She glared, grabbed the cushion, and retaliated by hitting me. "What did I do wrong?" I feigned hurt.

Alex POV She stepped back from our embrace, the warmth of her touch vanishing.Cupping her face, I wiped away her tears, my hand resting lightly on her waist."I love you," I murmured, brushing her cheek with my fingers and gazing into her red, tear-dampened lips.As I leaned in, our breaths mingled, teasingly close, her gaze fixed on my lips before meeting my eyes.I gently pulled her closer by her nape, our lips grazing, then melding into a kiss.Exploring her lower lip, tasting away her tears, I drew her closer, our bodies close."Charlotte," I grumbled her name, without breaking the kiss.I demanded entrance into her mouth, and when she granted it, I delicately slid my tongue in. Her mouth was sweet, leaving me longing for more, for her.My hands traced the contours of her body, finding their way to her backside.Squeezing and releasing gently, her moans drove my hunger, aching for her as I swallowed the sounds of her moans."I'm going to mark you as mine," I declared, reluctantly

Alex's POVShe pulled away from me, looking startled."I… I had no idea," she muttered, staring in another direction."Hey," I called, making her look at me."I know you had no idea about my pack's traditions, but don't be scared, okay?" She nodded."Are you a virgin?"She shook her head, and I nodded in understanding. I couldn't deny my disappointment."You're not a virgin," I muttered under my breath, and my jaws clenched. Silence reigned between us as I watched her. I wanted to act as if I wasn't affected, but I was. It hurts to know that someone else has seen the nakedness of this beautiful lady before me. Others were only supposed to see the exterior, while I should have been the only one privileged to see her unclothed. I'm supposed to be the only one to undress her, explore her body, and give her the pleasures of mating with an Alpha mate. All others should have only known that she was beautiful, with a perfect figure, well-formed curves, and medium-sized breasts.I tried not t

Alex's POVI held the door open for her to walk in. After she did, I closed it while she walked into the middle of the bathroom.I proceeded to pull the white curtains over the bathroom windows. After confirming everything was safe, I turned to her.I saw her staring from where she stood, looking puzzled."What are we going to do?" She asked, her eyes scanning the bathroom. My bathroom was luxuriously beautiful, sparkling white, with transparent gold-tinted-black tiles and walls. She stood in the middle of the bathroom with a robe, adding a beautiful touch to its look."Take off your robe," I instructed before walking into another room in the bathroom with transparent double doors, resembling an elevator. That's where the bathtub was.I returned with a new white material before approaching her.Her belts were already loosened, and I could see her cleavage, belly button, and mid-thighs, with her white panties. She hadn't taken off the robe and watched me approaching."What do you want t

Alex's POVLooking up at her, I saw fear etched on her face, and I smiled."Don't be scared, little mate. I won't hurt any intimate part of your body. I'm not killing you, but I want to make you bleed. I want your blood.""Then bite my neck instead," she said, and I shook my head."I need the blood from your mid-thigh. That's the only one that can be used, it's similar to the blood of losing one's virginity."She seemed to have understood but still looked scared."My mid-thigh? It's gonna hurt there. Can't it be done in another part of my body?""When a virgin is mating for the first time, there would be pain. I'm sure you've experienced it, so it's the same pain from making you bleed from your thighs. But bleeding from thighs would be more painful than being fucked for the first time, I guess. But you'll heal, and the pain won't last too long. You'll bleed quite well, and it'll give me just enough blood that I want."She opened her mouth to say something after I finished explaining, b

Alex's POVI halted, waiting for her to break the silence, but she remained wordless, fixating her gaze on me.Sighing, I completed the blood cleanup, the once-white cloth now drenched with crimson. Trusting it to be effective, I disposed of it in a plastic bag, then donned my robe.Wiping away the residual blood from the countertop, I squeezed the cloth in the sink. I sensed her eyes on me as I worked, and when I glanced at her through my peripheral vision, she was watching me."You need a shower, and then we'll assess your walking. It needs to be convincing that we really mated," I stated without direct eye contact, disposing of the napkin I'd used to clean up the less useful blood. She attempted to descend from the countertop, but her legs gave way, crippled by her injury, and I caught her before she hit the floor. Her hands held me for support as she winced, and I could tell that she was in pain."Take it slow, young lady, so you won't hurt yourself again," I advised, cradling her

Charlotte's POVI felt powerful muscular arms wrapped around me as I slept, my back pressed into someone, which was the source of the warmth I felt.I fluttered my dizzy eyes open, only to be met by sunlight filtering into the room through the window. I groaned, caressing my temples while staring at the blank ceiling."Did I hit my head?" I grumbled, feeling like I had bumped into something hard while sleeping.I turned to the presence I felt behind me and almost yelped when I saw someone there, but I realized a hand had already covered my mouth."Shhhh, it's me," Alex said, his velvety voice calm, before slowly removing his hand."Did I oversleep?" I asked, sitting up and pushing my messy hair away from my face.He turned to face me without sitting up, and I noticed he was shirtless.
