Drip!
Drip!
Drip!
Darkness was all that was visible.
Just pure black!
A quiver escaped her lips. A rag was tied around her lips restraining her from speaking or calling out for help.
Tears welled up her eyes.
She tried to move her hand and legs but they were pulled down by the heavyweights around her wrists and ankles. It was so dark that she couldn’t even see her own hands. It was all she felt.
The heavy metallic weights around her wrists and ankles restricted any sort of movement.
She whimpered as the pain shot up her spine as slightly shifted her position.
She tried to mumble with the rag in her mouth but barely any voice was heard.
Trying to free herself, she moved her wrists and ankles only for a sharp metal-like object to cut through her skin.
Warmblood oozed out of her left wri
“Shit!” She exclaimed as she covered her nose with her hands. The smell was unbearable and so was the sight. She had her head turned slightly to the side as it was impossible for her to look at it.Mustering up all of her courage, she turned to look at the person laying on the ground. It was too disturbing for her to handle it. A strong wave of nausea hit and she ran out of the house pushing everyone aside and went to the side and poured out the vomit. The more she tried to forget the sight, the more it became disgusting for her. She moved away from there and stood outside the house. She just couldn’t go in there again. She waited outside till her associate, Jona came.“According to forensics, the body has been in there for at least 3 days,” he said and she just nodded.“Hey, are you okay?” He asked looking at her flustered face and uneasiness.“No!” She yelled at him.“How do expec
She looked around her. Fear radiated from her but she didn’t stop. She had to know who this person was.She looked around for any signs of human activity. She gulped and wiped the sweat beads off of her forehead.“Hello,” Her shaky voice called out.“Please,” her chin wobbled as she jerked ahead.A silent weeping echoed making her snap her head towards her right. It was unbeknown to her, why she was in this dark place.“Who’s there?” She called out.“I can help,” she said and looked around but nothing. All of a sudden she was pulled back and her back thrashed against the wall. She let out a loud wail of pain. Her back hit the wall so hard, that she heard something Crack. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to absorb the pain. She whimpered as she tried to change her position.
Carla“Red. Something red!Black.Blue.GreenFucking yellow. But nothing red!”I yell in frustration, pulling out all the clothes from my closet. This has to be some sort of a joke. I have all the colors except for red. How can this be? I mean isn’t red a very common color? Why don’t I have something red?I know, I know, a red dress is something almost everyone has. Why don’t I have a red dress?I walk over through the pile of clothes and pick up my phone which was on the bed. I looked through my contacts and called the only person that could help me with this. After two rings, the call was answered.“Hello,” she answered lazily.“Kia; Thank god you answered my call!” I chirped almost immediately.“What it is Carla?” She asked and I could practically imagine her rolling her eyes
“Carla, you left this!” Kiara screamed as she came closer to the door. Aeden scowled at Kiara’s tone. It was really loud. She ran and held out the bag. Her dress, she had left that in the uber and Kia had managed to pick it up.Aeden looked at her like she had grown two horns. No one could have blamed him because she was leaning her back against his door frame and she just looked wasted. Kia had managed to have had more drinks than Carla did. Since it was complimentary, she took the opportunity to load herself with champagne.“Who are you?” He asked with an unknown expression.“You know Carla, I was right when I said he can’t keep you satisfied in bed.” She chuckled. “He can’t even remember me, let alone remembering to make love to you,” Kiara laughed out loud and so did the drunk Carla. It drove him mad looking at both of them but he just gritted his teeth and fist
CarlaPlacing my hands on either side of his chest, I pushed him away. Aeden moved an inch or so back and looked at me.“Don’t try and kiss me without my permission.” my voice so low, only Aeden could have heard it.He pulled away and turned to face the others. He placed his hand on the small of my back and walked towards the bar.As we moved away from the crowd, I reached out for his hand that rested on my back way too comfortably and removed it.He was a bit startled but, touching me this way made me a bit uncomfortable.I turned to the bar and asked the bartender for a glass of water. He handed me one in no time. As I was about to sip on it, “Carla,” Aeden called out softly leaning towards my ear. I looked up at him and he gestured me to turn around.A fine gentleman stood before us in a Grey three-piece suite. His hair was gelled back and he had no faci
AedenI locked the door behind me and lazily moved up the stairs. I was exhausted. My bed can do the trick, I guess.I passed by her room to see it locked. She never leaves the door open. It is always locked. Although I don’t mind using the spare key like last time, I will let her have her privacy.I turned the doorknob and entered my room. I sat down on the soft mattress and loosened my tie, pulling it out and tossing it on the bed. Before I could go to bed I needed to take care of something else.I looked down and the bulge that was evident through my pants. I just hope nobody saw it. I got up and walked straight to the bathroom for a cold shower.I stripped out of clothes and walked to the shower stall. I turned the shower on and cold water poured down with a fizz. I stepped under it and leaned my head back.I shut my eyes close only to remember the woman, responsible for my hard-on.
“Where is my wallet?” She muttered to herself looking through the drawers in the dining room.“Do you need something?” His sinfully alluring British accent hit her ears from behind.“Yes, I’m unable to find my wallet, but you go ahead, I’ll lock the door behind me once I find my wallet,” she said and continued digging and searching.“Alright, good day,” he said in his charming and seemingly normal voice. The thing about Aeden was that he never let his facade crumble down. He had put on a show. Well, nobody had actually seen him, just some people in Europe and Mexico, people of extremely high importance and nobody else. Despite being a well-known personality or a criminal, he was still anonymous.“Same to you,” she yelled once she realised he was out by the door. She sighed as she walked up to see if her wallet had been misplaced in one of the rooms. She searched all the
Her phone rang, jolting both Kiara and Carla in fear. It was dark and the fact that both of them were watching a horror movie didn’t make it any better.“Ahhh…” Kiara screamed in horror when the jump scare on the TV completely startled her and landed up dropping the large bowl of caramel popcorn on Carla.“Kia!” Carla yelled in fear and anger. She stood up and all the popcorn fell on the rug. She took her phone from the coffee table and answered it, whilst moving her tee to get rid of the popcorn that managed to get inside.“Hello?” She answered.“Carla, it's Jona,” he said in a hushed tone, making Carla frown.“Jona it's eleven in the night, what’s wrong?” She asked him.“It's about the client of yours. The guy that was murdered,” his voice urgent and now reduced to a whisper.“Yeah?” She uttered. She was confused as to why he
