Victoria’s POV My vision was all blurry from my tears. I was so mad. How did they do this to me? I lost everything. Alex was mine but not anymore. It hurt so much that he didn’t recognise me. Stupid Eliza! She had undoubtedly worked a number on him. How dare she. I needed my grandmother. “Get out of here and don’t return, you filthy rogue.” Alex’s words had almost killed me, still echoing in my mind. That’s why I was running as fast as I could, not sure where I would end up, knowing that staying here would be no good for me. Soon enough, looks like a small city, and I gasped. Victoria's POV "Welcome, we hope that your stay with us will be somewhat comfortable. Please allow me to show you where you will be staying." The girl who Zane told me was called Chrissy. She could not be much older than me and her face was covered in freckles and her eyes were an emerald green color with bright red lips that seemed to be fixed on a constant smile. ELIZA’S POV I woke up the next morning in bed with Alex snoring beside me . Rolling over to look at him, I felt so lucky to be his and as my luna ceremony was getting closer and closer. Victoria’s POV It did not take long to arrive back there. I did not need to look out the window to know that because I had that same feeling of dread knotted in the pit of my stomach that had been there the whole time I had lived here. “Come on, let’s get this over and done with.” Zane said to me with an encouraging smile. Victoria’s POV Alex! I woke with a start and looked around me to find I was back at Zane’s. I could not be here. What I needed was to be with my mate. Alex. He needed me, and yet here I was. “Zane!” I yelled, throwing the covers off me and shouting for him. I was so mad that he had got me back here. I wanted to go back to the pack house. Nobody was around, and that made me even more annoyed. Where the hell was he, and where was everyone else? Suddenly I was pulled into a room and found myself face-to-face with Zane.
