Nora POV

Uncle Callum nodded again, his eyes shining with pride. "Yes, Nora. You are the chosen one, the next in line to rule our kingdom."

My head spun as I tried to process this revelation. But Uncle Callum's words echoed in my mind, filling me with uncertainty. How was it possible to rule two powerful kingdoms?

Suddenly, I was no longer just Nora trying to find her place in the world. How was this even possible?

“ Uncle, I think you are mistaken. I can't be the heiress of two kingdoms. Besides, I know nothing about sorcery or magic-"

Aunt Doreen came forward, her eyes gleaming. “ Only the rightful heir of our kingdom commands the howl you made last night. Why do you think your wolf came out one year, instead of two years and decided to appear here in the Blue Lycan Kingdom instead?”

I shook my head, retracing my steps. None of these makes sense and I won't be brainwashed by these people to stay here in the kingdom. I have my own kingdom, my own people.

I took a deep breath

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    A Surprise

Carlos POV I glanced at Nora, who was busy admiring a butterfly hovering near the flowers. The creature's delicate wings caught the sunlight, painting rainbow patterns across her face. For a moment, she looked ethereal, untouchable—like something too precious for this world of violence and war we lived in.I was afraid of getting her anxious, too, so I softened my expression."Nora," I said, offering her my arm. "How about we take a small detour?"She tilted her head, curiosity sparkling in her eyes. "Where to?""You'll see."The moment we stepped into the main hall, I stopped dead in my tracks.A crowd of familiar faces filled the space—warriors, children, elders—everyone from the pack had gathered. Their smiles were wide, their eyes bright with anticipation. Colourful banners hung across the walls, hand-painted with messages of welcome and celebration. The scent of freshly baked bread and sweet cakes filled the air, m

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Something Happened To The Twins

Carlos POV " This should be the last potion," I said to Nora, stretching the blue vial to her. She sighed helplessly before downing all in one goal. After five minutes, she was sleeping peacefully. It's been one week since Nora woke up, and she has been getting stronger daily with the aid of the potions. The twins and I spend our time with her almost all the time. Due to the peace in the pack, I had enough time with Nora and the kids.Nevertheless, the warriors can't neglect their training. " Daddy, are you training with the warriors today?" Zoey's nightingale voice rang out as I made my way out of the chamber. They had slept over in my chamber last night.I picked her up with a smile," Yes, princess. I will be back by noon. Don't miss me too much."A rigid voice interrupted us." I want to train too, daddy."That was Zach, his eyes shining brightly. I felt a headache coming up. The only per

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    He Is Safe

Carlos' POVWithout a second thought, I made quick strides back to the palace. Excitement is building up all over my body. I was grateful Nora was able to make it. " She is awake?" I asked no one in particular as I dashed out of the office, totally forgetting George was still there." No one is taking her from you, lover boy!" I heard George teasing behind me. I ignored him but I could feel his scent lingering behind me. I cared less; all I wanted was to see those piercing eyes of my mate. Not long, I stood a step away from the bed where Nora was lying. She still looked pale, but it was enough that she was finally conscious." Sweetheart," I called out softly, biting back the tears threatening to fall from my eyes. I was too excited, I guess." Carlos," she weakly called out, smiling faintly. " Got you worried, baby?"I let out a chuckle before making my way to her. With my heart still shaking, I held her hands. It was still cold, fragile to touch. " You scared me."It took me all

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    She Was Awake

Carlos Pov “Daddy!”Two small figures darted inside—Zach and Zoey, my twins. Their little feet pattered against the floor as they ran straight to me, their voices blending in a whirlwind of chatter.I caught the look on Zach's face and how attentive he seemed to be as he stared at his mother. Like an inquisitive old man, Zach squinted his brows before taking steps towards Nora. I sighed at his attitude. The next second, I heard a chirpy voice that was threatening to break into tears. “Is Momma sick again?” Zoey asked, tugging at my sleeve, her big hazel eyes wide with worry. Not just worry, but a streak of wetness was fighting its way out of those cute eyes." Momma just needs rest. She will be fine after resting, Zoey..." I tried to console my little fairy princess. She nodded, much to my relief, but my great-grandfather in the form of my son couldn't keep his inquisitiveness to himself. He walked like an ancient doctor, his eyes scanning his sleeping mother.“Why is she sleeping

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Something Bigger

Carlos POV Blood. It was dripping from every opening in her body and her body was shaking vehemently in my arms. I choked on my words, my fear getting the better of me. " What the hell is happening?" I asked, afraid of what was next. Old man Silvarum had a calm expression on his face as he kept touching his beard. Was I the only one about to go crazy seeing Nora covered in blood?" You don't need to panic. She is just extracting the bad blood caused by the orb. You can take her home for a proper rest," Old Man Silvarum finally explained.I felt relieved, and at the same time, I cast him a glare. Couldn't he just explain earlier? Fortunately, it wasn't life-threatening as I imagined. I sent a mindlink," Get ready. We are going back to the palace."We got to the pack in less than thirty minutes. I carried Nora straight into the chambers, refusing to let anyone else touch her. Her skin was cold against mine, and even though Old Man Silvarum said it wasn’t life-threatening, I couldn’t

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Performing The Forbidden Ritual

Carlos POV My hands shook as I saw Nora slowly succumbing in my arms. Frantically, I raised her up while trying to talk to her." Don't you dare leave me again or the grim reaper would have to reap his own fruit!" I growled, going towards the direction of the makeshift tent. I felt useless at my weakness. I was her mate yet I couldn't shoulder her burden. I couldn't be stronger for her. It hurts me to see her fighting alone, the orb's power filtering into her soul. If I were stronger, I could have shared the power wallowing deep inside her. I could have controlled the power of the orb with her. With Nora in my hands, I took quick strides, more like running though, towards the tent as I shouted for a healer.A healer....Deep down I knew it was likely fruitless if the power of the orb had absorbed her. The only healer who could calm the effect of the orb was Old Man Silvarum. " Quick, send a message to the lycan tent. Tell them the presence of Elder Silvarum is needed urgently!" I
