Nora POV

I woke up the next morning to Karen's message that everything went well with Alpha Jasper. He also told me my father was looking forward to my coming so I could take over the kingdom's affairs.

I guess my father was quite impressed.

“ That's just his way of telling me to come back quickly, Karen."

We texted for a little while until a bang on my door made me stop. Justin was at it again!

“ I won't miss training, brother!" I told him, standing up from the bed.

Since what happened at the training ground, I had become an object of ridicule yet I cared less. The surprise would be here sooner than later and I can't wait to see their faces!

That morning, instead of training, I decided to have a run around the forest. It's been a while I ran and I don't want to fall below Elder Silvarum expectations once I get back.

I set my timing to see my limit after the potion I took. I wonder if there is going to be a huge difference. I took a deep breath before setting my target. It was the sa

Carlos POVI could feel Nora was changing. No, she looked like a changed person, yet I still can't point out exactly how she changed. I began to notice right from the day she pushed me at the border.I could sense her powerful aura yet it vanished just as it came. Maybe I was mistaken. Same thing happened at the training ground, it turned out to be the lycan's doing. But then why are strange things happening around Nora since she came back? Is there a secret somewhere? My eyes traveled to the pendant carefully placed by my bedside. I still remember the day Nora gifted it to me and how excited she was. Why was she demanding for the pendant after giving it to me?Besides, why was she asking for the piece of pendant and not the whole pendant? I got up from the bed, walking swiftly to my cabinet where I kept the shard of the pendant I saw six months ago.I remembered vividly what that man told me about the inscriptions on the pendant. It was the exact same words Nora said when she gifted

Carlos POVSo this was her game all along? As I watched Nora and Karen together, a growing sense of unease crept over me. I couldn't believe the transformation in Nora was not planned. It was more like a premeditated move from the beginning. If not, how could a weak, pathetic human with no wolf or power be involved with the most revered Lycan Kingdom? How could I not have seen through her devious act right from the moment she gave me that pendant? How could a weak pathetic human I rejected as my mate turn into ...this cunning woman? But as I gazed into her eyes, I saw something that made my blood run cold. A glint of deceit mixed with a hint of betrayal. I felt a sudden jolt of realization as it dawned on me that Nora was not what she seemed. “ Traitor!" I spat out again, letting my wolf partly take over. She was a traitor, a human who was determined to bring down my pack right from the beginning. She must have known she was human and struck a deal with the Lycans in exchange for

My annoyance was steaming from the fact that she was still denying it.However, my suspicions were focused on Aria now. What exactly happened after she took my pendant? • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    I Was Still Their Nora...

NORA POVI needed fresh air, away from that scum. I still can't believe he was still so dumb to the point that he thinks I was hung up on the fact that he rejected me.It was so laughable yet annoying to see his arrogance displayed with such immense energy. Was he trying to dodge his guilt last night or was he trying to act smart? I bit my lip, holding back the tears and anger that threatened to overflow as I walked away from the hall with Karen. “ It's strange how that arrogant Carlos was even the least worried about his past deeds," Karen pointed out, opening the car door." He still thinks I am doing all of these because he rejected me! How stupid!” I scoffed, resting my head as soon as I entered the car.I was damn tired. That arrogant, self-righteous Carlos! How dare he accuse me of being a traitor? And to think he had the nerve to create a duplicate pendant, as if I would ever stoop to such deception.I couldn't help but find it amusing, really. Carlos was so blinded by his ow

NORA POVI watched as l' faces became pale, their eyes wide with shock. My mother's hand flew to her mouth, as if stifling a gasp. My father's eyes darted to Justin then back to me, his expression a mix of disbelief and concern."Nora- don't scare me, please. Tell me it's just a joke" my mother managed to say, her voice shaking.I felt a lump form in my throat as I saw the fear and uncertainty in their eyes. This was exactly what I was afraid of. This was what I hated to see, their tears and hurt.Maybe I should have come out clean on the first day. I tried to stop the piercing pain in my heart as the tears no longer needed to struggle to get to my cheek. It was already an open stream on my face. "It's true," I barely responded, my voice cracking. " After I woke up, I found myself in the Lycan Kingdom."As I sniffed, I got ready to open up everything to them about my life at the Lycan Kingdom. I took a glance at Karen who was standing as a guard to the entrance. He smiled faintly at

WeThe letter must be talking about what transpired at the ball. I felt heartbroken that he looked at me with such anger in his eyes. It hurts to see that he might have believed what Carlos said, not until I heard his outburst. “ That bastard! How dare he accuse my daughter!" My father thundered, making everyone shudder except Karen. He just used his beta’s voice. That was odd because my father rarely uses it. My heart felt lighter, my face beamed with undeniable joy. It was a relief that his anger wasn't towards me but to those who accused me.The moon goddess surely blessed me with the most wonderful family. As I watched my father shake with his lips clenched tightly, I couldn't help but let a tear fall.He believed me, even without me defending myself. “ He is so brazen to accuse my daughter of such an act. From their growls, I could tell it was more of an orchestrated ploy to get me out of the pack, as a traitor. The air in the house dampened even more as I heard the grunts from my parents and brother. It was as thick as the anger building inside of me.“ I will go and sort this out," Justin said, making his way to the door but I stopped him.“ No, Justin. You don't need to get involved until I sort this out. This is about my innocence, I don't want to drag you all into it."“ Nora-" Justin couldn't finish his words as the growls and stampede was getting louder. It seemed like they were close to our house. “ How could he even think that- what the hell is wrong with Carlos?" It had been two months since the war and ever since then, Nora had been living like every other wolf, not having any of her past memories. The only thing she remembered was that she was in love with Carlos, the son of the Alpha, nothing after that. Living with her foster parents who she still believed were her biological parents, she found her footing once more as she began to bond with them and those that were around her as she lived her normal life. “Nora!” Her mother has called. “I'm coming, please hold on.” She yelled back at her and when she finished the task she was working on, she rushed to join her. “I'm sorry, I had to tidy up.” She said, rubbing her hand on her forehead.Smiling lovingly at her, her mother held her cheek with a hand while using the other to trace the outline of her jaw. “I wish you we

The person that appeared in front of me made me stagger backwards with my lips parted and with a shocked expression on my face. For a moment, the world seemed to have gone still as I stared at the people in front of me. Back at the forest, Karen had died in my hands and then Carlos' whimper made me run to his side only for him to breathe his last almost immediately. Taking in a deep breath, I pushed my hand into my hair, trying to speak but I couldn't find my voice. “What is going on here?” I asked, alternating my gaze from Elder Silvarum to Carlos with a relieved look on my face but at the same time I was curious and shocked. Not saying a word to me, Elder Silvarum tightened his grip on Carlos who was standing next to him. Ignoring my curious mind, I ran to meet with Carlos with a bright smile on my fac

Taking his gaze off the fighting wolves, he allowed them to land on Karen who was lying on the ground weakly. Staring at him in anger, the only thing ringing in Carlos' head was to finish him off in his vulnerable state but he couldn't bring himself to do it. But as he turned a corner, he suddenly found himself face to face with a shocking surprise. He halted abruptly, trying to understand what was playing out in front of him. Aria was killed with her father together with Lycan rogues who wanted to wipe out his pack but here she was standing at the borders. Blinking his eyes, he said, “You are supposed to be dead, what are you doing here?” He asked, still trying to understand what was going on. • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    She Protected Her

Reader's POVJust before Karen could hit her with the deadly blow, Queen Dione leapt into the air, pushing him off Nora, hence shielding her from the impact. After this, Queen Dione fell to the ground with a thud as she let out a low wince while Karen stood aside baring his canines. The force which Karen had released, an ordinary lycan even if it was poisonous doesn't possess such power. Shaking the thought off her head, Nora fell next to her mother, as she tried to make her sit up but her mother was weak, thanks to the encounter she had with Karen a while ago. From the look of things, Nora was quick to realize that Karen was not the same one she knew before. Of course, he was now a poisonous Lycan and now his eyes were turning into a dark red color as he seized Nora in a bid to tear her apart.Just when Nora was about to charge towards him to tear him into pieces a strange and loud howl rented the air and then a strong wind blew Nora and her mother off the battleground . NORA POV My head was almost bursting with different questions and emotions at the same time as I wondered what he had thought of my request. Snapping my eyes shut, I parted my lips, “Carlos please, we have to do this.” I said with a tone of urgency. “If you delay, it's going to be disastrous.” I said in a bid to convince him. “I'm not rejecting you Nora!” He said with a chuckle that made me at ease. “I was taken aback with the sudden request, that's all.” He shrugged and once again, I let out the breath I had been holding back as I anticipated what he was going to say to me. “ Another thing, we need to seal the bond at the cave of the goddess." "Here, at the goddess cave?" Carlos asked, his eyes widening in surprise."Yes, it's the only place we can be sure our bond will be recognized by the gods and there is another meaning to it too," I explained.Rubbing my forehead, I wanted to explain the reason why I brought up the suggestion but he just smiled in understanding. Nora's POVIt was now two weeks since the death of my father and all I can say was, the days were getting longer and longer. Mother had regained consciousness and I was happy about it but still I was aggravated as I kept blaming myself for the death of my father. "Mother, I'm so glad you're awake," I said, tears of joy streaming down my face as I hugged her tightly."Nora, my child," she whispered, her voice weak but full of love. "I'm so proud of you. You're strong, just like your father."I nodded, my resolve hardening. "I will make sure those responsible for his death pay, Mother. I vow to wipe out every last one of the Ancient clan."My heart was heavy with grief but my spirit burning with determination. I would see this through, no matter what it took. The Ancient clan would pay for what they had done.During these two weeks it had been Carlos who had been by my side, otherwise, I would have lost my sanity long ago. I couldn't think straight anymore but he was there to help and

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Death...

Nora's POVNodding slowly, Elder Callum said, “Karen is Alpha Jasper's son.” “Then he must be a one of the poisonous rogues. How come we didn't find out about it much early.” I ratted out as my heart beat increased. Terrified, I began to clench and unclench my fists as I thought of what Karen must have done, knowing that he was a poisonous Lycan. Just when I was about to start running my mouth, Elder Callum stepped up, “You don't have to worry about it too much. There is no way Karen would turn into a poisonous Lycan.” He said in a carefree manner that made me raise my brow at him. He said it himself that Karen was the grandson of Alpha Draco then he must definitely be a poisonous Lycan, what was he insinuating. “Karen was raised here and not in the Ancient Clan so he is not poisoned.” He took a pause before he continued. “The only way he can get poisoned is if he gets hold of that pendant…” I listened intently as Elder Callum revealed the shocking truth about Kaden. "So, he's

As if that was not enough, Carlos was wheeled forward and immediately I let out a loud laughter filled with anger and regret. “I should have killed you when I had the chance.” I yelled, baring my canines at him. With my hand stuck in my hair, I sent my teeth into my lips, biting it with no mercy as anger ran through my veins. If only I had remembered that Carlos had an alliance with the members of the Blue Lycan Kingdom, I wouldn't have left a breath in him. Now, there was no use crying over spilled milk. It's time to restrategize and come up with the perfect solution. With this in mind, I stepped forward and with an intimidating look and gaze, I yelled, “You are Lycans, why are you allowing a mere werewolf to be in charge of you?” I yelled, gl
