The interior of the church was decorated with a mishmash of patterns and it was hard to guess where the vault might be. As they stood there, planning their next move, they heard footsteps. Maxine took a smart step and disappeared from the view.

“Are you looking for this?” a male voice suddenly echoed from behind them.

They turned around and found the priest looking at them angrily. He was holding the signet. Soon his face broke into a devilish grin and his body began to change into that of a deadly creature. Olivia quickly jumped out of the way, at the same time casting a binding spell to keep any human from getting closer to the building.

The outraged creature charged at Olivia who dodged its attack skilfully. The creature, now fully transformed into a Manananggal, was too strong to be handled by Olivia alone so William and Romos stepped in to help, throwing random objects at the creature to distract it.
