  They returned to the B&B late at night, but Elizabeth could not sleep at all. Next morning, when she set out to get some fresh air, she met Tessa on the jogging track. They jogged on for a while and later, Tessa offered her a coffee. Elizabeth looked at the time. She was not expecting to see Lady and Holly for two hours, so she agreed. After coffee when they walked back to the B&B Elizabeth realized that she had loved the small talk with Tessa. She was not sure if it was just a change, having a friend outside the supernatural world or it was something more.

When Holly woke up that morning, she saw Elizabeth and Tessa returning from their walk. A broad smile spread across her face, but it vanished as quickly as it had appeared when her excitement was overshadowed by concern.
