They recognized the badge. It was the reward Fane had gotten from the Seven Deaths Array. The badge had led Fane to the Slaughter Hall and the Killing Hall. They should have followed the badge to the next place, but Fane had some considerations and did not go in the end.

Fane pointed at the badge and said, "After completing the Killing Hall, the badge gave me a piece of information. The information told me about some of the uses of the badge. If you want to come with me to the Toman Battlefield, you won't be sent to a random place with me around."

Lourain immediately straightened his body when Fane said that. His eyes were so wide they almost popped out of their sockets. He could not believe that badge was this useful. If he could be sent to the same location as Fane, then he should be safe as long as he was not reckless and if Fane was willing to protect him.

Fane's words seemed to imply that Fane was willing to protect him, and was even willing to have someone like him who would o
