After twilight comes dawn.
After dawn comes dusk, then twilight.Cycle repeats..Some humans try to live through the day, while some just try to survive it.But alex won't have none of that. He would always live in the moment till he breathes his last breathe. Some may say he was reckless and lacks proper ambition but no shit, he did. But did he give a fuck? Hell no!For the entire 18 years of his life the closest thing he has had to initimacy with a girl was shaking her hand...like cmon. Its even embarrassing to think about it. I mean sure he had Victoria cakes and Sarah jay to keep him company on the lonely nights, while he self pleasures himself like a sad person till he cums. But that is just not enough! He needed more! At first it was fun but now its hard to even find the right porn! Everything just seems bland and boring.Alex lied on his bed with his face towards the multicolored bulb hanging down the ceiling, his thoughts were all over the place as he stared at d light that looked like mini stars."Thuck!""Thuck!""Thuck!"Rhythmic sounds pulled alex out of his fantasy island, following the source of said sound he went towards his window, as he reached out to open the blinds----"cracccccccckkkkk!!! Bloof!" His window shattered. All alex saw was pieces of shattered glass flying towards his face, and then....well there was no then. For a piece glass got lodged right in his throat.Alex collaspsed to the floor, with bright crimson blood shooting from his neck. He was confused as to what just happened, a minute ago he was making resolutions on how he would live in the moment. And now? Well Nigga be sure doing something other than living at the moment."Life is a joke" alex thought as the light in his eyes dimmed. Alex Anderson was dead. At least he thought he was."Ugh! This fucking bastard!" Erica said as she stood up and patted away the glass and dust fragment hanging on her clothes. " of all things it just had to knock her into some random persons window" she thought, as she looked around her. At least she managed to stab it with a wolfsbane laced dagger so it should be all good. She would just use a magic tailsman to fix the window and yeah the dead body....wait..."A dead body!" Erica eyes went wide as she said at the body on the floor."No no no no, this can't be happening" erica was panicking cause she knew things just got more complicated.Erica Valentino, daughter to count ruffus valentino, second in line to the throne of house Valentino. And one of the four seasons of the vampire world. Even though she's Blessed with the power ice, erica did not have the stereotypical cold and aloof personality that is often associated with vampires who has the power of ice. She believed in socializing even though vampires were not social creatures but her personality was all about good vibes.Recently a skriller werewolf was on the loose after killing some vampires and humans alike. Skrillers is the general term for supernatural creatures that succumbed to their bloodlust. And this changes their genes and breaks their mind. Turning them to mindless savages that killed with no purpose, disrupting the whole system put in by the supernatural society, with the risk of also exposing them to the outside world.Every supernatural race always have a unit dedicated to control cases of skrillers of their race going loose, but this time for some reason the main skriller character of the night managed to invade the human world causing chaos. This is where erica comes in. A vampire. Daughter of a count hunting a skriller of another race. You can call it fate or bad luck, or anything really. All erica knew was one moment she is sneaking out of netherndel to the human world to club. And the next a skriller is in front of her munching on its recent kill, from there the fight issued. Leading us to our innocent alex who's house was painfully close to the battlefield of two high tier creatures, Unfortunately getting so much badluck that a piece of glass from his window found its way right to our golden boy's throat. Talk about 1000 ways to die.Erica looked towards the body on the floor forgetting to check on the skriller she stabbad outside. "Thump" "thump" these two sounds gave Erica biggest hope she has ever had. A chance to fix a mistake that's more or less hers. The boy on the floor is alive, he is dying but for the moment he was . And that's all she needs. A beating heart with flowing blood. In netherndel which is the name for the entire vampire world is filled with pure vampires. Pure vampires refer to the ones born from a vampire, unlike some mythology about vampires, they can actually procreate but its only harder to do so. So the common way of creating more vampires would be to just turn humans, but then turning of a human is a complicated process.First of all, not all vampires can create other vampires, only noble vampires can, these are vampires possessing an elemental affinity. Example would be erica with her power of ice. She is considered a vampire of noble blood. Though she is way up in the heirarchy of power compared to other vampires. Simple reason being, her father is the current ruler of all ice elemental nobles and the fact that her powers is and will grow more stronger than her peers. Mundane vampires are ones that possess no affinity whatsoever and they consist of abt 80% of the entire vampire society. Now we have slave vampires which are humans turned vampires and a dangerous stigma follows them everywhere.Though noble vampires can turn humans but this also comes with limits and rules.1. Before a vampire is created, permission from the ruler of the nobles house has to be asked and granted2. Noble vampire has to be over 200 years old to perform a vampire turning ritual3. Vampire has to check the strength of his\her soul before attempting a ritual. -These 3 rules has always governed and regulated the creation of new vampires. No.2 and 3 can be called the most vital since it directly affects the vampire involved. The older a vampire, the stronger their soul and when creating another, a piece of soul energy is needed to turn a human to become supernatural. If the soul is weak, during the vampire ritual the soul will fall apart and both human and vampire will die. That's why only vampires of 200 years are allowed to turn others, because according to vampires their souls are strong enough and matured. Now why would a vampire care about a human? For erica has the thought of turning the boy on the floor to a vampire just to bring him away from the brink of death. Let's ignore the fact that erica would break every single rule in the book since she's just 152 years of age and permission hasn't been granted by the ruler of house Valentino aka Daddy. Balance has to be kept and there are rules about a human dying due to supernatural influence while in the human world. For If this balance is broken any race involved will answer to the council.Forgoing all risks, and consequences be damned erica proceeded with ritual. She whipped out her dagger and went towards the body in the floor. Taking in his features as she went. He was a young male of abt 18 years with dark hair and lanky body. A typical young adult. "Plish!"Erica stabbed the dead body's chest, tearing it open with her hand as she reached for his beating heart. She actvated her affinity, coating the heart ice. Wind blew furiously all around the room as she muttered the sacred words. From my body comes strength. From my soul comes powerFrom my spirit comes resilienceI call on the resonance of blood.I give thee a part of me.And draw you from the abyss to the light. In the name of vlad the great!!!Erica eyes shined bright blue and all veins in her body lighted up, as if poked with needles blood came out from her hand holding Alex's heart, as it trickled down her arm towards the ice coated heart. "Boom!!" A bright light appeared from Alex's chest and the shockwave threw erica against the wall knocking her unconscious.Alex eyes opened. Within pupils a different color could be seen. Gone was the boy with dark eyes. For his eyes was purple. Something never seen in the realm of vampires...As Alex went unconscious after bleeding out and losing his breath, his life drifted away, now his consciousness was buried deep in his mind as his brain activity slowed down. He didn't feel no sense of peace, only a truckload of regrets. As he sank further to a seemly never-ending abyss, Alex saw the light. "Was this the popular light people saw when they died ?" He thought, his consciousness floated toward the bright purple light and once he got close, the light like a raging tornado sucked him in.Alex opened his eyes. The confusion in his mind reflected on his facial expression. Alex stood up from the ground and looked around his once not so clean room, which was now in complete disarray and chaos. He looked at his shattered window and his hands went subconsciously towards his neck. " Okay, this is really weird because I could have sworn I was dying" Alex thought as he stared at the glass shards on the floor. "Or was it a dream""No, the blood on the floor said otherwise". It was a
He checked the amount and value of the recent harvest from the wasteland that was stated in the ledger. The yearly cross-house tournament was coming, and house Valentino had to offer their share of resources that would be used as part of the reward to give to the Victors. Rufus Valentino rubbed his forehead as he laid his back on the chair made from agar wood . Vampires don't really get tired, but they sure as hell aren't immune to frustration. "I should have a damn secretary for these stuffs" count Rufus muttered with exasperation in his tone. The yield from the weekly hunts have been low for some time, and the rate at which the younger generation of his clan burns through resources had increased exponentially. Even with the merit system put in place, those little fuckers still had to outdo most mission put on the board.Of course, a part of him was happy that the vampires of his clan were competitive and growing stronger, there were the future after all. But still, it couldn't chang
"I heard a halfling is coming to get registered, where might they be, I have other matters that currently need my attention." a white haired man with youthful appearance spoke as he looked towards a dark-haired Man with thick eyebrows sitting with papers at hand. The man controlled the administrative department of the bureau, appearance can be deceiving in the supernatural world, for despite his youthful appearance he was over a thousand years old."They would soon be here, Casper, so just suck it up. After all you just got here yourself" the dark-haired youth replied in a soothing voice that gave a certain calm.As the two conversed, the door opened, showing forth a beautiful figure in silver armor. "Lady Sylvia, to what do we owe this visit." Casper said with a smile."Your presence is definitely a big honor, so your wish is our command" he continued while a gave a little bow."She is the one you are waiting for simp, proceed with your job and stop fooling around" the administrator
Alex and Casper arrived at a small room where a young man could be seen sitting as he furiously jotted down some notes."Hey Rick, get me a blood bag from the recent batch" Casper called out to the young man."Lord Casper!" the young man spoke in a flustered tone as he jerked up from his sit. His eyes turned to Alex who was at Casper's side. "Halfling?" Rick glanced at Alex with a questioning expression."Rick? Blood bag. Now!" Casper repeated in a stern voice. Rick swiftly took off towards a blood bank, then came back with a blood bag at hand. It took rick about 2 seconds to this. Alex marveled at the speed of the young vampire, he got more excited as he looked forward to his transformation.Casper took the blood bag and handed it over to Alex. "Drink""Uhh, just like that? Seems kind of weird now that I think about it. Drinking blood and all" Alex said with an awkward smile."You want it flavored or something"" Casper replied sarcastically as Rick chuckled, giving Alex a condescen
Within an entirely different plane lay a force. A force lying in slumber for nothing in this present era feels worth its attention, for it misses the days when it was bathed in the blood of both its comrades and enemies. Now eons have passed, and time, from which it has long since unshackled itself, has no effect on its bones, but that may now seem more of a curse than a blessing, for its very mind craves something! Anything! Except peace. For that's all it sees in this era, so it took the best option... to go into an eternal rest, at least until something else that jogs its old bones comes along. And on this certain day, something did happen. The wheel of fate trembled, this seemingly little act made a resounding deep chilling whistle throughout all beings that have tasted the power of the cosmic and divine! For the wheel signifies the fate of an entire era, and any deviation or out-of-place movement only means one thing: Cosmic strings have been cut, and the old ways have been reviv
The atmosphere grew tense, and Alex felt as though an invisible blade was just inches away from his throat. One more misstep, and he might meet Grandma early in heaven… or hell, devil bless her soul.Alex took the potion and with great resolve, he gulped it down."You should start feeling it anytime soon," Azaroth suddenly said."Feeling what?" Alex inquired, but his question was met with silence. As the mysterious potion coursed through Alex's veins, unease washed over him. His vision blurred, and he felt a sudden surge of power and vitality, but at the same time, an unsettling darkness crept into his mind. The room seemed to distort, and he struggled to maintain his balance as he gripped the table for support.Azaroth observed him closely, a sinister smile playing on his lips. "Enjoying the taste of power, are you, halfling?" he taunted. "Remember, there's a price to pay for meddling with forces beyond your comprehension.""What the heck are you babbling about?" As the chamber of healing bathed in an aura of tranquility, Azaroth finished his report to Count Rufus, the ruler of House Valentino, about the events that transpired between Alex and the celestial being, Lysandra. He recounted everything he had witnessed during the encounter—the mysterious potion, the surge of power, and the vortex of dark energy that seemed to beckon Alex.Count Rufus listened intently, his expression shifting from curiosity to a mix of concern and intrigue. "A celestial being, you say? This halfling has certainly become a curious anomaly. I have my doubts about him, but if he is connected to cosmic forces, then he might prove useful in the future."Azaroth clenched his fists, trying to hide his disdain for Alex, but the count noticed the underlying tension in his demeanor. "You still hold animosity towards the halfling, Azaroth. I understand your reservations, but we must approach this situation carefully. If he is indeed connected to celestial forces, he might be
In the celestial realm, Lysandra guided Alex through a breathtaking landscape of vibrant colors and ethereal beauty. They walked together on clouds that felt like solid ground beneath their feet, and as they traversed the realm, Alex's senses were overwhelmed by the harmonious symphony of distant chimes and soothing melodies."Where are we, exactly?" Alex asked, still in awe of the celestial realm's splendor."We are in a realm untouched by darkness, a place where light and cosmic forces intertwine," Lysandra replied, her voice resonating like a gentle breeze. "It is a sanctuary, a source of balance, where celestial beings uphold the harmony of the universe."Alex tried to absorb everything he was experiencing, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease within him. "I appreciate your guidance, Lysandra, but I can't shake off the darkness I feel inside me. It's like a constant reminder of my actions back in Netherndel."Lysandra placed a comforting hand on Alex's shoulder, her tou
