The rising Phoenix part 1

Standing in the middle of the sea of vampire and other blood thirsty creatures ,the hunter in me has yet to identify. The crimson fluid dripped down , my neck no doubt That's what beckoned the creatures my way in the first place. My heart beat faster than a normal human would live through, Pumping the blood faster then should be possible. ' who thought it was a good idea to ,have hunter blood replenish itself at rapid rate. It just draws in more creatures, dumbest shit ever. '

They all seeming lunged at once, though it seem the moved in slow motion. Holding the silver tipped stake from my leather jacket. In my right hand and a pure silver dagger with my left. Gripping the weapons tight ,brining the blade up . Though their was no doubt in my mind. These creatures speed rivaled that of a bullet . Or a blink of an eye as they moved full vampire speed. Even faster for some of the different types of creatures. Although these where fast attacks ,they seemed as they moved in slow motion do to the fact.

A hunters speeds faster than that of a normal vampire. Spinning around the stake was plunged in to ones heart and the dagger was brought up slicing across a man throat. Simultaneously Switching between the two motions . Stabbing into Hearts and cutting opens throats. Making way through the crowed of creatures. Seeming making 100 fall in 10 seconds flat. One particularly strong vampire lunged and jumped on my back, plunging her fangs

Into my neck, As I pulled my arm back, pulling the stake out of a man's heart. Planting my elbow in her side. She yelped loudly though clung hard to my back. A growl of annoyance left my lips ,as I moved my arm up to grab her hand to flip her off me. But that one motion distracted me enough. Two more was able to plunge into my neck at the same time and push me to the ground. Still trying to plunge the stake into the ones her but as soon as I did I felt sharp pains everywhere . My vision blurred badly before completely going dark.

Liam's pov

Deklan rose into the air his bones breaking echoed,as did his screams . Honestly as I held up the barrier ,I didn't pay much attention I couldn't bare to see, him in so much pain. As I tried to drown out the screaming. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw it. It was just a flicker of gold. I have never seen a phoenix link.It looked like a laso made out of ,gold light. it barly wrapped around his shoulders in time as he burned alive.

Just before his heart,went still his body went limp in the air. The laso glew brighter, once he was lifeless. Soon he then fell from the 6foot suspension. I moved under him,so I could catch him . The bright gold light dimed,lighly it unraveled,from around his shoulders.

Then Attached itself into his heart, As if it where a lifeline. watching, I was dumbfounded. I never knew older hunters could see the link. It was truly beautifull. Gently I lay him on the clearing bed,. Soon a violet link comes from his chest,it wove around the good one and intertwined around it. Like a warm embrace , Then it stretched moving up the link, As if it was following it back to where it's owner resides. .

Watching deklan ascend was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. That was until I was forced to let him die. Dying so close to ones ascension is very risky . If the hunter dies before the link between them and their phoenix is formed they won't be reborn. Standing in front of my younger brother Noah and my parents.

" Are you serious! Your going to just let I'm die! Hes newly ascended and alone against damn near all the vampires in this city!" I yelled at my parents.

my eyes no doubt shifting violet as my body had a violet glow due to rage boiling inside me.

. "Enough Liam ! You know the rules! " My father voice boomed shakeing the hole house.

"I don't give a fuck about your rules;" I growled.

. Walking out the house. Only to be cut off by Noah.

"Don't you dare start!" I growled. Noah roles his eyes.

" I'm coming with you. He's my little brother too ,your not risking your life alone. "

" Fine don't die!" I gritted through my teeth. Running to the woods full speed. Arriving at the edge of woods, I stopped dead in my tracks.

A brunette was knelt over deklan sobbing . I put my hand up stopping Noah in his tracks . "Please don't leave me. I just found you ." The girl whispered . Just before Deklans heart stopped.

" Fuck we're to late." I grumbled.

The scent of pomegranate and cherries assaulted my sinces. All I saw was her back. The female has long brown hair and Carmel colored skin. She fell forward, Crying hard over him. Noah quietly stood next to me now.

. "She has to be his mate. " He whispered. I looked at him. "

"No shit Sherlock. " I sighed.

"We have to wait,see if he comes back " I added with a sigh .

" "What do you mean if?" I sat sat on the ground rubbing my face roughly.

" He died to close to his ascension. " I said simply.

Sitting their in silence for what seemed like forever. Soon a light thumping sound was heard . A sigh of relief left me, hearing his heart. Looking over. As the female tried to lift him. Only to see her fall. I looked to my left. To see Noah lowering the tranqe gun .
