The three of them spent all morning getting to know each other all over again. It was only when Dolly came to urge them to eat lunch that they realized that the whole morning had passed. The weekend passed with the excitement of finding Grace and sweetness of husband-and-wife meeting after being separated for 2 weeks. The rest of the week passed in a flurry of activity. Everyone was swept off their feet; running their personal businesses, pretending that there was nothing out of the normal with their better halves and running errands that had self-assigned after volunteering to help Chris with his investigation. Firstly, Lorenzo executed both the tasks he was delegated to perfection. He didn’t have any trouble sneaking in and out of the hospital with archived data of everything related to the hospital, whether it was surveillance footage, finance or confidential information related to hospital records or clinical trials that were run by the hospital. Sofia had done the legwork making his work effortless. She had provided them with not just access cards but also habits and behaviors of the staff whose access cards they were using. Chris drove all the way to his home base without stopping; Both Emile and Grace were comfortable in the caravan and slept comfortably on the bed while Chris rested on the sofa. Once they reached their home base, Chris didn’t disturb either Emile or Grace and rested along with them in the caravan while he let both Night Rider and the rest head upstairs for a power nap before driving out to the airport. Emile shook her head helplessly. She couldn’t blame Grace; She had to admit that she too was quite shaken when she saw the scene before her, even though she knew the story.
