I reached my office the following day. Alexander and Esrael called us for a meeting in the boardroom about the Paris trip and how the departments need to manage their work.

Designers, makeup artists, and management people's names were enlisted.

I was quietly listening to their conversation when my eyes landed on my name enlisted in the list. I was assigned the important task of managing the show backstage. Reading my roles and responsibility, I looked at Alexander and immediately averted when I saw him looking at me the same way he did last night.
