53: The Phonecall

Xavier sighed for the hundredth time. He felt like a stranger in his own home. He angrily got out of bed and decided to get something strong to help him sleep. And just like his ex-fiancee, he ended up having a little too much, he couldn't stop himself from calling the man.

Stephen was surprised to see Xavier's call at around 2 am. He, too, had been unable to sleep or even function properly. He missed Xavier to a point of insanity. He didn't waste time before picking up the call. But all he could utter was a timid hello, and then waited for Xavier to speak.
