CHAPTER 28

"Did you tidy everything up?" said Axel, who had just opened his eyes. He thought Tessa was still in his arms, but instead, she had been busy tidying up both of their suitcases.

"Hmm... I did." Tessa turned her body around, looking at Axel's face, still rolled up under the covers.

"Come back to bed...." Axel tugged on one of Tessa's wrists, trying to get her back onto the bed.

"Get up... I don't want to go back to bed." Tessa held her body back from falling back onto the bed; it would be a red flag for her if she did as Axel said.

Axel pulled Tessa's hand so hard that she fell back into his arms. "Give me one sweet kiss, and then I'll get up and let you go. Axel made an offer that he was sure Tessa would not refuse.

"Give me all your money. Then I'll kiss you, not just a peck. Tessa raised one eyebrow and answered Axel's offer more defiantly. Tessa thought there was no way Axel would give her what she asked for.

But to her surprise, Axel pulled her by the scruff of her neck and gently
