CHAPTER 26

"Why reply to your message? Isn't it outside of company hours?" Tessa stared into Axel's glazed eyes as if trying to contain her anger.

"You're mine, Tessa! You're my bed partner." Axel replied to Tessa, who said something that made him even more heated.

"I don't know what you mean. You're still going to stand here? I have to go in." Tessa shook her head. She didn't care what Axel said; right now, she just wanted to go inside and, instead, argue at the door.

Axel let Tessa into the apartment. Axel just stared at Tessa's back as she walked past him, without any guilt about what she'd done today. Axel didn't realize that Tessa had a lover in Japan. Axel saw Tessa walking with a man who was taller than she. Axel wanted to approach Tessa, but he put it off because of an agreement he had made. Until, finally, there was no other way for Axel but to hold his anger and wait for Tessa's return to the apartment alone.
