Abby fell asleep while crying. However, a knock at the door woke her up. She creased her brows in irritation. Who would be disturbing her sleep at such a time?

But when there was another knock, she sat up and looked at the clock. It was only ten o'clock in the evening. Huh! Her eyes widened. How did she fall asleep that early?

She stretched a bit before going to open the door. And the person before her made her blink her eyes. “Chris?“ She called in confusion.

Chris immediately pulled her into his arms. “I was about to break down your door if you didn't open it,” he said. He had missed her so much.

Tears immediately welled in Abby's eyes. “I thought you would never come back,” she said. She was scared that maybe she would never see him again.

Chris pinched her cheeks and pulled her into the house. “Never come back? Are you crazy? I will die if I don't come back to you,” he said, pressing his lips against her.

How could he voluntarily choose to stay away from someone as sweet as Abby
