She looked like she was about to cry. I knew her imperfections bothered her, but they didn’t bother me a bit. I kissed her again, softly this time. I grabbed her butt and picked her up off the ground, and she quickly wrapped her legs around me. Fear wafted off her, and I realized she didn’t like being picked up. I carried her to the bed and crawled onto it while holding her. I laid her on the bed and broke the kiss.

I kissed a trail down her neck and to her breasts. Dominique gasped when I took her breast into my mouth. I sucked on her nipple and flicked my tongue across it simultaneously. Her body heated up under mine. I moved over to the other breast and paid it just as much attention. Dominique pushed her hands into my hair. I was going crazy feeling her beneath me, in my hands, and in my mouth.

I kissed my way over her stomach and licked across her scar. She moaned, and that just drove me mad. My hands went down her sides and then down her thighs. I used my fingertips until I

“Tell Dominique I will be waiting for her downstairs, please,” I said to Post. I walked back downstairs and headed straight for the bathroom. I grabbed several paper towels and wet them down. Then, I closed the stall door and cleaned myself up as best as possible. I would forever remember tonight, even if Dominique refused to be with me again. But at the same time, this made me want her even more in real life. Would it feel like that in real life as well? I finished up, walked over to the table we always sat at, and waited for her. I saw Post come down and get Melissa. She went upstairs, and a few minutes later, she came back down with Dominique. Was Dominique really that embarrassed by what we had done? Or was she ashamed of it? I watched her walk over to the bar, and Tim walked over. He sniffed the air and said something to her. She said something to him, and he went to fix her a drink. I could tell he was very unhappy about something. I grinned. He could probably smell her an

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 14

I sat beside Dominique at the bar. She had steadily been drinking since the incident earlier. She looked at me and then went back to her drink. Finally, she polished it off and stood up slowly. I was worried about her driving home tonight as she was too drunk to even stand up without weaving. “Why don’t you let me take you home tonight?” I asked. “I don’t drink and drive, Nathaniel. I didn’t drive here tonight, so I drowned my anger in the booze. Normally I don’t drink a lot because of how I got before. But, since Tim gave me a ride here and is taking me home, I’m okay.” “Tim brought you here? Why are you allowing him to come to your home and give you rides if you are not interested in him?” I was trying really hard to reign my anger in, but it was definitely not working. I could feel the muscle in my jaw ticking. I watched as her face contorted in anger as well. I had promised her no more jealousy, but I couldn’t help it. “Because I can hang out with whomever I want. I went to the bar once the sun had set and sat at Dominique’s table. I handed her an envelope that contained the contracts. She was surprised but didn’t realize I had a lawyer working on these since I mentioned them. “How long do I have to read through them?” Dominique asked me. “As long as you need. I’m not in a rush. You let me know what you think once you have read my offer,” I said. “Alright. I’ll do that. Thank you,” Dominique said as she set the envelope aside. “You seem distracted, Dominique. Are you alright?” “I’m fine. I just had something happen last night, and I’m not quite sure how I feel about it. To say I’m confused is putting it mildly.” “Please, remember that I am trying my best not to show the jealousy I feel. Is it about Tim? You have glanced over there several times since I sat down.” “Nathaniel, you are so sweet, and I really like you. So, I don’t think it would be a good idea to talk to you about this since you told me you are jealous and have shown inte

I tried to hug her, but she stiffened. I sighed and hugged her anyway. If she only knew why I couldn’t be there for her today. If she only knew that I had been with her every night and had protected her last night even though she hadn’t known she was in danger. How could I make her see that? “Dominique, did you call the police?” “No. Tim told me not to. I’m a criminal, and I covered it up. What if she died?” “Don’t think about that now, Dominique. You did what you had to do. Tim had a reason for not having you call the police. I understand it. I agree with it. All will be explained to you eventually.”I held her tight and felt her begin to cry again. She finally relaxed into my arms and let me hold her. I picked her up and carried her over to the couch. I sat down and held her against me, stroking her hair. She laid her head on my shoulder, and after a few minutes, she passed out in my arms. I kept stroking her hair as I thought about what I would do to that bitch when I got a h

He looked at her and then at me. I already knew they’d had sex, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he said it, but Dominique didn’t know I knew. I just watched Dominique to see her reaction if Tim did mention it. I had to know what she was feeling about it. “You and I slept together, Dominique. Roxy thinks I am her property even though I haven’t been with her for a long time. She knows I want you, and that pisses her off. She figured out what we had done because she and Jacob were waiting for me to get home. Jacob decided to give me a good old-fashioned beat down. That’s why I didn’t come to work. Are you happy knowing now? Do you understand why I don’t want to leave you alone?” Dominique looked at me out of the corner of her eye. I tried to school my face to be blank, but I knew it showed the anger I was feeling. Knowing about it didn’t make it any better when talked about. Dominique sighed and leaned back in her chair. She closed her eyes. It seemed she was more worried about what I

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 18

“Are you serious?” Dominique asked. “Yes. I’ve never seen you like this, Dominique. If a car brings you this much happiness, then check it out. I like cars, and I collect them. I rarely ever drive them. Starting them up occasionally is all I have ever done with most of them.” “Oh, my God! How could you just let this baby sit here?” Dominique asked incredulously. “Well, again, I like cars and collect them. I usually drive my Mustang. It’s my favorite. Go ahead and check it out. The car is all original. It has barely any miles and was barely driven when I bought it.” I told her. Of course, she didn’t know I had bought it when it first came out. I just liked the look of it. I loved muscle cars. Dominique sat on the driver’s side and touched the wheel. The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in 1969 was rare to find now, especially in such excellent condition, so she was barely touching it. I wondered what her reaction would be if I let her give it a spin. “Would you like to take it for a te

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 19

The ride home was strained, and the only thing said was when I gave her directions back to the house. Once the car was parked, Dominique got out and handed me the key. She walked over to the mustang and got her things out. She was no longer in turmoil. Now she was angry, and that feeling was even more potent than her lust. I opened the door at the end of the garage and started up the steps. When I realized Dominique was not behind me, I turned around and went back down. She was fiddling with her phone and pacing back and forth. It seemed like I was always messing things up with her now. I walked up to her and pulled her against me. I kissed her, but she didn’t kiss me back. I pulled back, and she just looked at me. “I’m sorry, Dominique. I did not mean to hurt you. I don’t want to take advantage of you and then have you come back later on me about it. I told you I would not push you, and I mean to keep that promise.” Dominique stepped away from me as she said, “It is what it is

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 20

“It wouldn’t matter if you did since you don’t have anything for me to take it with. Who in the hell has a kitchen with nothing in it? Or a refrigerator that isn’t even on?” Dominique asked. I sat on the edge of the bed. I had not thought about her needing food while I was out for the day. How was I going to explain that away to her? She wouldn’t believe me no matter what I said because it was odd not to have anything in the cabinets or the refrigerator for ordinary people. I hadn’t thoroughly thought through her staying with me. I was only worried about her going upstairs and finding my blood supply. “I’m sorry, Dominique. I have a small refrigerator where I keep my things. I did not think of this when I went to sleep this morning.” “Where were you? I called you, but you didn’t answer. Your car was still here. I had to order delivery and saw it still parked in the garage. I, I went upstairs. I’m sorry, but I was looking for you so I could go to the store and get something. I sa

“Yes. I have heard you tell Nathaniel that the voice sounds like a mixture of mine and Alpha’s. That is why. I know that’s not what you wanted to hear, Dom. But you had to have known. The things I have said have been from a man’s point of view. Alpha was Luna’s mate, yes, but he thinks of you as his mate and would talk to you as his mate. I’m talking to you as your husband would. Please don’t feel bad about this, Dom. I feel lucky that I have spent this extra time with you.”I couldn’t help it. I started to cry. I had wondered about the voice but hoped I was wrong. I’d held Tim’s soul in that stone all this time. He hadn’t been at peace but had been trapped in a stone. The kids would never forgive me if they found out the truth. I wasn’t sure if I could forgive myself at this point. I was so selfish.

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 92

I walked over to where the driver was placing my bags onto a luggage trolley and took my wallet from my purse. I handed him 20 euros, and he thanked me. I smiled and walked back to the desk. The clerk gave me the room key and my ID. I thanked him and walked over to the elevator. The porter got on with me, and we went to the room. He must have thought it odd that I didn’t give him the bag from my back, but I ignored his strange looks. Once we got to the room, he unloaded the luggage onto the luggage racks, and I tipped him. He smiled and thanked me before exiting the room. I placed the bag on the bed and put my purse on the nightstand. The curtains were wide open, so I walked over to the windows and closed them. The room wasn’t pitch dark, but the sun wasn’t hitting directly on the bed. I walked over and unzipped the bag.

I woke up when the announcement about our landing came on. I was still cuddling Nathaniel in the bag. I sighed and sat up. I walked over to the seats and hooked my seatbelt. Once the plane landed, I grabbed the bag from the couch and was surprised it didn’t feel heavy. I must still have my strength, but it was awkward when I first tried lifting the bag. I put my hand in my pocket and felt the stone. I felt the energy coming off it and knew it would be glowing if I took it out. I didn’t realize how much it hurt Nathaniel that I always had the stone. I thought he understood that it was a part of Tim and that I wasn’t ready to let go of Tim just yet. I suppose being with him in every way that mattered in a relationship made him

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 90

“You could have offered to let me be your human servant and then allowed me to live my life with Tim, but you didn’t. Instead, you took what you wanted without a second thought about what I would think or feel about it. That made me angry, and I wanted to hurt you, so I went to Tim. I chose him automatically. If I had been rational about the situation, I would have sat you both down and had a conversation about it all, but I didn’t.” “Then I cut you out completely later on. I had no reason to do that as Tim knew I wasn’t with you and that I was being faithful to him. But I wanted him to be positive about it, and frankly, I wasn’t sure if I could be completely faithful if I continued to have a relationship with you. I always thought about you and had to push those thoughts and feelings away while I was with Tim.&

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 89

“Are you excited, Dominique?” I asked. “Very. I can’t wait to get there and meet Barnaby and Victoria. I also can’t wait to see your home and for you to show me places I know I didn’t see when I came to England the last time.” “When you came to England before, did you feel my presence more than usual?” “I felt like you were closer, but I was always trying to ignore the pull I had to find you. I wanted to enjoy being here with Tim.” I could tell something was off with Dominique when she mentioned Tim, but I tried to ignore it. This was our vacation, and I was grateful she took it with me. I had asked her to leave the stone at home, and she had been reluctant to agree, but she eventually said she would. I watched her body language and how she kept her hand in her jacket pocket. Had she actually left it? “Dominique, what are you hiding?” “I don’t know what you mean.” I tapped into her thoughts and she was thinking about miscellaneous things. This made me even more suspicious. Sh

“Any interesting conversations so far? It’s been a few weeks,” Ewan said. Carson looked at Ewan and responded, “The vampire had a conversation with someone named Nathaniel about coming to England. I think it’s the other vampire we have been looking for. It would explain why we could never find him no matter where we looked. He hasn’t even been here. He did mention that he couldn’t wait to see him and Dominique.” “Did you say Nathaniel?” Ewan asked rather excitedly. “Yes, sir. Is there some significance to that name?”

Dominique began to sway her body against mine. I mimicked her movements and began to take my shirt off. I slowly unbuttoned my shirt as I rolled my hips. Her hands slid down my chest and pulled it free from my pants. I grinned and showed her my fangs as she slid the shirt off my shoulders. I winked at her and gently pushed her back onto the bed.I slowly reached for the fastening on my slacks and unhooked it. I knew by her scent that she was getting turned on. However, I refused to let her touch me. I slowly moved away from the bed while unzipping my slacks. I rolled my slacks down over my hips while revealing tight black briefs.Glancing up at Dominique, I noticed her looking down at the bulge in my briefs. She slowly looked at me, licking her lips. I can see the pulse point at the base of her neck fluttering, and

“I’m sure they will, Dominique. I just wonder sometimes if you will be happy with me after a hundred years together. I know it won’t be easy since you are still not used to sleeping with me. I hope to overcome that obstacle one day and get you into a sleep pattern that allows us to be together.”“Sometimes, we will need to be apart so we don’t get sick of each other. I can always go out alone and spend some time with myself. Then we won’t get tired of being together or run out of things to say.”“You will come to realize that we don’t need to say anything for me to be happy to be with you. Our bond makes us want to be around each other all the time. You will feel the distance and the urge to return to me when you are away from me. I do not expect you to do this, but I want you to know.”

  • Nathaniel   Chapter 85

“Dominique, I want to review the plan again to ensure we have it down.” “Okay, Nathaniel. It’s pretty straightforward, though, so I don’t think we need to.” “I just want to make sure you are okay with the plan. There can’t be any mistakes, and I need to know that you can handle my weight.” “Right before you pass out for the day, you will slip into a duffle bag that is big enough to curl up in. Then when we arrive in England, I will take the bag with me as my luggage. There will be a car waiting for us, and I will give them the instructions on how to get to your house. Once we are there, I will place you in the bedroom where you can wake up refreshed. But won’t they check our luggage?” “No. All luggage is checked before you leave. They will just think you grabbed your luggage. I worry that you can not carry me. You no longer have the strength of your wolf.” “I’m still stronger than the average human thanks to being your servant.” “It must look like you have a regular bag, not on
